KAHUNA HAS MOVED ON TO JOIN HIS ANCESTORS WITH PACHAMAMA! More reason than ever to investigate procuring genetics from his sons and daughters mostly available here at Pucara International! We can proudly say that this legend of the suri world has achieved what no other suri male has achieved! 2016 FUTURITY LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2014 FUTURITY RESERVE LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013 FUTURITY LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2012 FUTURITY LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2011 FUTURITY LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2010 FUTURITY LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2009 FUTURITY LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2008 FUTURITY RESERVE LIGHT HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR Sire of more white Futurity champions than any other herdsire. Grandsire of Chakotah 2011 Reserve and 2013 Futurity Dark Herdsire of the The Year. Grand sire of Chakotah's Wyuna five times Judges Choice winner and second place behind Chakotah at the Futurity Dark Get Class. Kahuna also won 2012 combined Get Class and 2013 Light Get Class. We have lost count of all his Get class winnings. We were smitten with Kahuna from the day he was born. Besides having one of those special personalities he had everything we would have hoped for when we considered the breeding that produced him. But we knew enough about suris, and especially ours, to know he was special. Thus he has become one of THOSE premier herdsires producing unbelievable babies like Pucara Kallina purchased by Ann and Bill from Coldwater Creek in Michigan....Kallina is one of our best ever! And Pucara Hanapepe the 2008 Futurity and AOBA National Champion. Pipeline, Manu, Yadin and Chico, all Futurity and Nationals white and beige male champions and the list goes on. So why were we so sure about this boy? Because he has exquisite parentage! His dam is Halona Happy Fortune Accoyo, our best. Every one of her cria have been champions bar one, all her male cria became herdsires. The father of Kahuna is Accoyo Amador who Don Julio Bareeda when last in the US used as the "perfect " example of a suri herdsire. Amador was an important foundation herdsire for our Aussie show team. Look at Kahuna's progeny...genetics don't lie! Neither does science..look at his EPD's!!! At the top or very near it in every trait tested. And please note the very high indexes of accuracy. Description

A PUCARA DONOR STUD FEMALE FOR THE PUCARA ET PROGRAM Co-owned with Tim and Beth sheets Heritage Farm Elandra has Hollywood looks!!! She has that gorgeous "Pucara" suri head that we are so well known for and undoubtedly a result of her sire's influence. Thank you Kahuna. You eye immediately goes to her when you go into the pasture. She shows off perfect symmetry in her frame, fiber to the ground on a solid thickly set body. The locking is uniform right across the body and folds in wide layers into itself, the sign of density in an advanced suri fleece. Her fleece has graded for several years as Grade One and Two adn has weighed over 4.5lb skirted in that time. Elandra had a handy show campaign with Champion at NWAS and a third at Futurity amongst others. Elandra is a grand daughter of one of our first import females, Pperuvian Geneve, a Pperuvian Ganador daughter, Ganador being one of the most under utilized herdsires in the country. The dam, Pucara Chemise, has had several cria that sets us apart from the opposition. Kahuna's Brohnn would be an example who is due for stud work at Pucara International and was a Futurity Bred and Owned Champion 2016. Now it is the progeny of Elandra that sets her apart. Her 2015 boy, Navigator has quite possibly one of the finest, elite fleeces, we have produced. This what our partner, Michelle Alexander from Dakini Suris who purchased a half share says: "Have you ever seen something so dazzling beautiful you can't quite find the words to describe it? That's what happened to me when I saw the fleece on this boy. White isn't the absence of color but rather all colors combined and Navigator's fleece is that brilliant kind of pure white that has infinite potential to take on any color. You can just envision the myriad of next to skin fabrics this fleece could be made into. Navigator was born to pass those traits on to future generations and he will begin his breeding career this summer. So happy to co-own this fantastic male with Pucara International." That says it all! A daughter Wyuna's Keala is also a donor for our ET program, so there is your sign, Elandra ticks all the boxes for contributing to our harvesting of embryos from our best females.
