You can't ask for a better mother. Tiara is an excellent milker--AND she will nurse crias other than her own! We are always having to pull other crias off of her, it's like she has chocolate milk! And, in a true crisis where we lost a dam with a 7 week old cria, Tiara immediately adopted that cria and bonded with him and nursed him like he was her own all the while nursing her own cria at the time. Tiara passes on her luster and fineness to all of her cria, even her dark brown son, Sawyer, has her wonderful fineness. Tiara has a wonderful temperament and is my favorite alpaca that I own. I hate to part with her, but I've been agisting for years and the cost is just getting to be more than I can handle. I've stopped breeding and am down to my last favorites that I held onto. Tiara is healthy, active and bucks and kicks around the pasture with the crias.

Description

Star has produced show quality cria with all 4 pregnancies with 4 different sires. Her first cria, Torbio's Danica won 1st and RC and a Judges Choice in spin off and touted a 16micron 1st fleece. And Danica is currently #1 in SDAFD as well as top1% in other categories. Her second cria, also a female, took 1st and RC. Her third cria was also blue ribbon winners in halter and spin offs. I no longer own them, so I haven't been able to follow them as closely. Her forth cria, Roady, is also listed for sale and I was hoping to show him this year. He has luster, fineness and density. Star milks like a cow. All of her cria have weaned at well over 60 pounds. She has the most docile, easy going personality. I've always had an easy time breeding her and she delivers easily as well. Star's price is not indicative of her quality. I have held onto her until the last because she has been such a great dam for me. I am selling because I can no longer agist and don't have my own land to keep her. My loss is definitely your gain.
