Meet Christiana. She is a super dense, solid proven mom having just delivered her first perfectly handsome male cria in November. He is a rosey Lt to medium Fawn, first deemed 'Lucky Guy' on our blog, and now officially named 'Swirled Peace'. Christiana has been such a perfect new mom, we can even suggest her for a new breeder who wants rock-solid mothering instinct for ease of herd management. She would fit very well into a rose-grey program, as her boy 'Swirled Peace' has a rose grey head, and is looking rose grey in several other areas. And we do suggest Acting QUICK because Christiana will be REBRED to our incredible award-winning white male, Quech 22, for an incredible baby-on-board if you purchase her. We love Christiana's light color and ability to pass the light beige/Light Fawns that are so desired for dyeing, however her claim to fame will be her fleece density that is off the charts... Christiana has perfect conformation, a typey head and the light BEIGE fleece that some fiber afficionados' (like ME) seek. She comes from AWARD WINNING dam and sire - do check out Christiana's sire PC Runninglate in photos - then you'll know what we're talking about! And her dam's side is nothing to brush off as well - Dior is a top fawn producer that sold to the Xanadu program in Colorado. We have Deora, Christiana's half sis here still at the ranch, and Deora's daughter Solstice is a total knock-out - having won First, Reserve Champ, and even a 3rd in a very tough class at 2017 Nationals. This line is solid quality with solid production records. We expect the same great results from Christiana's offspring now that she is in 'production' and proving to be a great mom. Christiana has always been a 'hearty eater' and her BCS and histogram reflect that. We like to call her a 'robust' female. One thing that really stands out on her is her density - she is packed solid. Impressive 2017 EPD Traits for Christiana are noted in 5 out of the 8 fleece categories, and Top 10% of the database for both AFD and MeanCurve. Her true BEIGE fleece is a hard one to find as well.
