JLFA MICHELANGELO'S ACCOYO AUSTIN

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 32777543DOB: 5/17/201311 yrs
Austin is an excellent well proportioned Michelangelo Fawn son. Austin's fleece show excellent density and consistency across the blanket with nice fineness and character. Mike needs no introduction as he is a proven champion producer. Michelangelo has that extremely dense fine high amplitude crimp, and an incredibly even "peach colored" fawn fleece. In late 2005 Dr. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy of this spectacular male, and he had a follicle density of an amazing 115 follicles/mm! (Post-calibration results were adjusted to 107 follicles/mm) His S/P ratio was an astounding 13.28/1! These are still unheard of statistics, and he PASSES THEM ON! Austin looks to be following in his fathers foots steps.

Dam:

JLFA CASANOVA'S HOSANNAH

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 32325423DOB: 8/10/201113 yrs
The definition of Hosannah is “used to express praise or adoration to God” and this gal is remarkable! Her fleece is gorgeous – vibrant dark fawn, consistent, tight zipper crimp, extreme fineness, outstanding density, staple length, matchstick micro bundles and wonderful handle. I know – it is hard to believe but she does have it all! To keep adding to her wowing attributes is a strong presence, full topknot, excellent typiness, total coverage, and picturesque conformation. This is not only our opinion. It was proven through her 1st place and Color Champion banner she was awarded at the MIAF show. How did she become so great? Like so many others – we have to give credit to her ancestors. Hosannah’s sire is the Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, who is arguably the sire of the most grey champion offspring above any other herdsire! He was awarded the prestigious AOBA Color Champion and the Futurity Herdsire of the Year awards! At 3 ½ year old he maintained an AFD of 18.3 and his recent histogram showed he was still under 25 at over 9 years old! A Casanova son was also awarded the Futurity Herdsire of the Year award and sold for over $300,000 in early 2006! This was the first time ever a sire and his progeny were both awarded the Futurity Herdsire of the Year! Hosannah’s dam is JLFA Pot of Gold’s Halloween Treat, a multi champion gal who is outstanding and has some power packed genetics you are going to want! Her sire is Pot of Gold, a light brown male awarded several blue ribbons and is a multi Get of Sire winner! Pot of Gold’s sire is 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend, a MSG Peruvian Import who is the sire of many legendary herdsires including Revelation! On Halloween Treat’s dam side, she is loaded up with MRG, MSG, LSG and TB genetics 5 generations back! Hosannah has it all for someone looking for excellence and seeking to add grey to their herd. She has produced the beautiful HFAR Rosalinda, a medium silver grey female. Update: 7-12-2020 Hosanna delivered a beautiful female. This girl is loaded with bright, crimpy fleece! Watch for updates and pictures. Hosanna sells with a breeding to any of of Herdsires. If you want to try fro grey we would recommend Just Smittens Argento although she has made grey bred to fawn, so maybe try another of our multi champion herdsires E Pluribus Unum

Service Sire: A and A & MFI Quixotic

2019 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of Year!

A and A & MFI Quixotic

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 32166620DOB: 7/6/201014 yrs
We are proud to own and open up this incredible herdsire for a limited number of breedings. Quixotic’s dam, Starry Night’s Quetzal, was purchased at the prestigious 2008 All American Alpaca Futurity. To say that this dam is impressive is an understatement. She was a gorgeous dark silver grey female with incredible fleece character and rare density. Quixotic’s dam was bred to Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah the first year and the result was the famous multiple champion A & A and MFI Quatrain purchased by Coffee Pot, Whistler’s Glen, Applewood Farm and Tangled Oaks at the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction. The second year she was bred Jeremiah’s paternal brother MFI Peruvian Formula 1, co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas and the result was A and A & MFI Quixotic!! Quixotic is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. Quixotic's crias hit the ground for us starting in 2015 and we have been thrilled at what he is adding to our program here! Several of his offspring have been out and about in the showring and have earned top awards at several highly competitive shows, earning both champions and Judges’ Choice awards. Cloverleaf Alpacas Man of Steel is just one example of the quality we are seeing in Quixotic’s offspring and he is a true standout in the greys, earning top awards at every show he is in! Quixotic's crias have continued to wow and impress even the most discriminating buyers and breeders...and judges! His crias are outstandings!

Description

We were excited and surprised when HFAR Rosalinda hit the ground. Rosie's dam had already produced silver grey and a black when bred to fawn, so I am not sure why we were surprised. But what a special surprise we received! Rosie has a beautiful bright rose grey fleece, showing excellent crimp with exceptional density (especially in grey). HFAR Rosalinda's dam is our JLFA Casanova's Hosannah whose sire is the Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, who is arguably the sire of the most grey champion offspring above any other herdsire! He was awarded the prestigious AOBA Color Champion and the Futurity Herdsire of the Year awards! At 3 ½ year’s old he maintained an AFD of 18.3 and his histogram showed he was still under 25 at over 9 years old! Rosie’s sire is JLFA Michaelangelo’s Accoyo Austin, an excellent, well proportioned Michelangelo fawn son. Austin's fleece shows excellent density and consistency across the blanket with nice fineness and character. SOLD - Thank you Julie Judge and David Hores from Road Runner Alpacas for your purchase!
