Sold - Congratulations to Nancy Chapel of Alpaca Country Estates! Ike's advanced Judge's Choice fleece, which scored 87 points - puts him in a very very small class of elite classic gray herd sires. And, in halter, he was awarded Color Champion at arguably the toughest halter show in the country, the Futurity. Judged to be superior in quality, by senior judges, in both halter and fleece shows. In showing, This is the mark of an elite male. And, in terms of Production - he's already produced National Champions in both Black and Gray. Please see his fleece score card pictured here. Scores such as these are rarely awarded to alpacas of any color. His first Three shearings have each won at least one championship - proving lasting quality. Ike started settling girls when he was just 21 months old, he is a pleasure to manage as a sire. I fell in love with Ike at first sight (and feel), at the 2013 Futurity, when he was 7 months old. Thank you to Gary Henderson of Keva Ranch Alpacas, for producing Ike, and allowing him to join us here at Delphi! At 8 months of age - YM's laserscan = 13.9 / 2.8 / 20.0 / 0.4% >30 At 20 months of age: 5-16-14: AFD 16.31 / SD 3.44 / CV 21.1 / 100% CF At 32 months of age: 5-24-15: AFD 20.5 / SD 4.2 / CV 20.7 / CF 97.3% At 44 months: 5-23-16: AFD 22.5 / SD 4.6 / CV 20.6 / CF 93.2% / curve 59.8 He's definitely the total package.

Ike is closed to outside breedings. Crias shown in the 'all of Ike's kids' picture posted here, include All of Ike's kids born to Delphi girls thru Jan 2019 at Delphi, except two that left with their mom's as little babies. His production consistency is unmatched. :^)

An "A Paca Fun Farm / Delphi" Girl

New Forest Victoria

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Rose Grey

Vicki is simply an exceptional girl. She is a good sized girl with extremely dense and soft crimpy fleece. High frequency with high amplitude too. A beautiful light rose color, she is correct, straight and strong. Vicki delivered a gorgeous very dark brown Golden Legend son Iliad, who went on to win a blue ribbon in a class of 5 yearlings at GWAS 2015. Vicki has proven herself to be an excellent mom! Nothing more we could ask of this girl. Her next cria is another beautiful maroon boy, Pericles - so slick, crimpy and shiny - superior boy. As a juvenile he was awarded 2nd place at his first show - 2015 GWAS. Vicki was bred to Ike for her next cria, and gave us a Stunning silver girl - Bells & Whistles, we are over the moon. Repeating the breeding was a no brainer, and again she gave us an Ike daughter, Melya, that we could not be happier with. Thank you Vicki! ;^) Vicki is not available for purchase, and is currently residing at A Paca Fun Farm.

Congratulations to his new owner, Bari Padgett of Paragon Alpacas! Both his mom and his dad are National Banner Winners - each of them in both Halter and Fleece! How many alpacas can say that? Alpenglow Alpacas and Delphi Alpacas went in search of a silver male - that would complement our herds' fineness, brightness, and uniformity - that would maximize character and fleece weight - that would exhibit the typey style that the judges look for. Our goals were to improve fiber production in every capacity, while at the same time producing top show alpacas. Lofty goals - but we found him in Gray Enough. I had the joy (and challenge) of color checking him for show, when I first met this beautiful boy. GE is pale silver gray - that can best be appreciated against a white background. He has a distinct silver cap and silver legs as well. His first crias include a platinum gray female, just a tad darker than GE himself, from a fawn dam. And now his first crias have arrived at Delphi and we are over the moon with their quality. GE's pedigree cannot be topped. His sire is Annual's Bea-2 Bomber - Bomber is well known as the .38 Special son with his own wall of awards - now sire to an ever growing list of his own Champion crias. Now imagine matching Bomber up with an equally impressive dam! They did. GE's mom is 16 time Champion Orlando's Carly Cloud - full sister to Ringo Cloud. Carly's 16 Championships include: Color Champion AOA Nationals Fleece 2015 Color Champion AOA Nationals Fleece 2014 Color Champion AOBA Nationals Fleece 2012 Color Champion AOBA Nationals Halter 2012 Color Champion MAPACA Halter 2012 Reserve Champion The Futurity 2012 (Halter). Description

Sale Pending. Fabulous price for this quality. Last chance to get this kind of quality from Delphi at this kind of savings, as we reach our 2019 goals. Check out the gorgeous fleece on this girl. Purchase includes her new cria, and she has been bred to G.E. for a repeat. She had a fantastic cria on 5/2/19 - we've named her Flower. She's a little "Melya Mini-Me" - - - bay black with fine dense, crimpy curls. (See pictures). Perfect conformation and presence, and a little racer on day one. Flower's genetics include Deacon Gray, .38 Special, Bomber, Ike, and more - and Melya is now bred for a full sibling for you. Melya is something in between Indefinite Dark and a modern dark silver grey - She's got some silver fibers in that fleece. Melya has lovely conformation, and as you can see - she has a jaw dropping fleece. Histogram at 9 mos. of age - AFD 17.8 / SD 3.7 / CV 20.9 / CF 99.9% Melya broke her tibia, (the bone below her knee) when she was about 3 weeks old. She healed nicely and led the baby races, but it kept her out of the show ring, and she does very occasionally favors that leg - though not noticeably. She's one of Ike's best - And - she's a really great Mommy! She's a foundation girl ready to make stars for you.
