SOLD. Congratulations to Duet's new owner, Healing Springs Alpacas! This sassy full Accoyo Rockstar daughter is always first in line to greet me at the gate. And she's the one who gets everyone going when it's time for a pronk fest. She's a gorgeous typey female, eye candy for our pastures. Her fleece is lustrous and fine with a wave and twist lock style in a kaleidescope of colors that are rare in a full Accoyo. Even more rare is her black skin. Above all what we like best about this female is her winning personality and intelligence. Duet began her reproductive life with an excellent track record. She settled easily and she's a steady lady in the barn while pregnant. Her first cria was an unassisted easy birth. She's a good mother and milker, which we highly value in our breeding program. She's been observed to nurse other cria in the herd while nursing her own. She's a great all-around mother, possessing all the reproductive excellence we look for in a foundation female. 2016: Duet produced a beautiful female cria September 2016, sired by Eldora's Zaliki. Zaliki is a solid true black and a Suri Network fleece show Reserve Champion, a world class show. The resulting cria has a high luster solid true black blanket with very wrinkled skin, tightly packed with well organized follicles throughout her blanket. We have repeated the breeding to Zaliki for a 2017 cria.
