WOW! Look at that Champion stance. This boy has it all. Density, lock and lustre with big bones. People drool when they see him on our farm. He stands out in any crowd. Lumiere looks just like his illustrious father PPeruvian Torbio, but he has even more density. We are breeding for grey, and he is wasted in our program. We are looking for a partner or partners to spread his genetics. He is in the top 1% EPD. Here is his biopsy report from Norm Evans. "Lumiere of PVA" was biopsied as a suri male. His ARI# is 30831858. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters that are very uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. His density was 60 follicles SQ MM of skin on a 10 MM punch that requires no adjustment due to tissue shrink. His SIP ratio from 25 fiber clusters averages 9.8 to 1. Note on the SIP & 250X scan that only 20o/o of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers. This low level of fiber medullation should result in excellent handle. He shows level3 of 4 gland structure which should relate to excellent luster. The average stats that evaluated in 2011-2013 in mature Suri males that I assume breeders considered their best is noted on the last page of the new current summary. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 21.3 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 27.4 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 6.1 microns. Lumiere of PVA is the whole package with many genetic traits that should be passed to his offspring. Like Torbio, Lumiere throws color when bred to a colored dam. If you are looking to add lock and density to your herd this is a fabulous opportunity. Lumiere was never shown as a he was a white PVA animal, and they were spoilt for choice over there.
