Lingering fineness! At age 5 he was still holding about 22 micron.
Our Peruvian Major is packing — Accoyo genetics that is. Check out his sire MFG Admiral with such pedigrees as Peruvian Magnum, Misty Maiden, Peruvian Camilio, and Royal Velvet. Also his dam, our Peruvian Lullaby, with pedigrees including Accoyo Don Quijote, El Moustachio, and Peruvian Hemingway.
Major's pedigree is hard to conceal. He has uniformity of color, density, and fineness. When you put your hands on him, you can appreciate the fullness of fiber that is consistent in diameter and contains a very low percentage of fiber over 30 microns. Major has a calm, pleasant disposition, easy to manage and lead. He was proven at 2 years of age, being bred to our Peruvian Rose, Peruvian Willow, and Peruvian Nala.

MFG Admiral is a 17 time 1st, 2nd, 3rd , or Championship winner. Comments are always the same: "awesome fleece"! Unparalleled fineness (16 micron as a year old!), high frequency crimp, luxurious handle, outstanding density, great conformation, and superior lineage. Admiral is an elite fleeced male that has been putting his stamp on his crias with large powerful frames, beautiful typey heads, incredible fineness and brightness.
Many have been mesmerized by the soft handle of Admiral's fleece, commonly uttering "This is the softest fleece I've ever touched!" AOBA judges are consistently impressed by his fleece, commonly calling him the "finest fleeced in the class". He has maintained this fineness even as a breeding herdsire, Combine this with his bundling high frequency crimp, Accoyo density, and great conformation, and it is no wonder his cria are looking the way they are: awesome!
His lineage includes, Accoyo Camillo, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Magnum (National Champion), Peruvian Camelot, and PPPeruvian Misty Maiden (commonly referred to as "The Dam of the Century"). Just prior to a recent new record, she held the all time high auction price for females at $205,000. Misty Maiden has been bred 8-9 times, each time with a different Service Sire and each time has produced Champions. That means the outstanding genetics are in her blood line. Misty's offspring/grand-offspring have dominated the show circuit since 1998. As of July 2006, the bloodline has earned over 60 championships & 70 blue ribbons. Every alpaca in his traceable lineage is either a champion themselves, or have produced champions!
