Here is the one and only Irish Meadows Peruvian Knight Rider, a 15 time halter champion. He's the guy with the black fleece that has the qualities of white. He has the awesome head and boxy square conformation. In some lights he looks true black. Knight Rider settled a female at 18 months old, the first time we tried him. Look for his first cria in November, 2010. Knight Rider consistently gets females bred in one breeding. November 2010: Knight Rider has his first cria on the ground, and it's an adorable black male! Update March 2012: Knight Rider has over 30 ARI registered offspring and counting in his first year of breeding!! Check out the 2012 shows for the results as they hit the show rings! Update October 2012: Knight Rider's offspring had a great show season last spring! Now, we just had 6 more of his cria hit the ground in September. They have amazing fleece!! We will definitely be showing several of them next spring. Contact us for a visit for a hands-on look at his offspring, we are very excited about the traits that he is passing to his cria!! KR's offspring have taken many championships and ribbons too numerous to list here, including color champs at the Futurity in April 2013 and AOBA Nationals in May 2013!! I will try to put a list together upon request. We regret to say that Knight Rider has passed away prematurely. We are leaving him listed to link to his many great offspring. Proven Beautiful Male !

Description

Rosedale is a typey male in an unusual, eye-catching color. His sire is Irish Meadows Peruvian Knight Rider, a 15X halter champion and Futurity reserve color champion. Knight Rider sired only a handful of greys before his untimely death in 2014, making Rosedale a rare combination indeed. Knight Rider stamped his get with his square, boxy frame and impeccable conformation, and Rosedale inherited those perfectly. Rosedale's dam sire is multi-champion MFI Peruvian Zoolander, also no longer breeding. Zoolander is almost certainly responsible for Rosedale's solid rose coloration, as his was the same. Zoolander also carried the rare harlequin gene from his dam, My Peruvian Zulieka. As Rosedale's coloring is so similar to Zoolander's, it would be possible to produce a harlequin. To date he has produced beautiful offspring.
