TSSS (The Suri Stud Stable) is co-owned with Britt and Patty from Hasselbring Harmony Ranch. 2014 started off well for Tieva, he claimed Reserve Champion at the IAO show in Sacramento and claimed second place in a really tough class at the Futurity. Tieva essentially means the chosen one in Polynesian. The original decision to produce the dam, AVA Rose, was to breed her daughter to 2013 Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year, Chakotah of CCR Suris to produce a stud male. She had a daughter and we did that breeding setting all the genetics that make these lines incredibly prepotent. Introducing Tieva, our chosen one. The dam a Kahuna daughter is exceptional in fineness and density and is a reserve stud female in the TSSS stable co-owned with the Hasselbrings. She will not be sold. She is a precious granddaughter of our famous Pucara Allegro the winner of Best in Shows and who made 22 Champion progeny who went on to win Best in Show in Australia! Wyuna’s Tieva profoundly displays the Suri traits we breed for: fineness, density, staple length and extreme luster with a regal attitude and head. The mother, NWA Manchita, is a daughter of a well known Uribe son NGG Caezar who has been under used but nonetheless a sire of high quality progeny when he got the chance. On this cross Chakotah the sire has done a splendid job of infusing the density and fineness from his Uribe and Bruxo heritage into the fineness of the dam's line producing a suri that is a delight. Of course Chakotah is a multiple times champion and producer of judges Choice progeny like Chakotah's Wyuna and BuzznHumm's Layla. In 2011 he was the Futurity Reserve Dark Suri Herdsire of the Year and Dark Futurity Herdsire of the Year 2012 and 2010. Her 2014 cria we are retaining. He is has the traits that his uncle Pucara Pipeline had in abundance. He's a show boat and lives up to our high expectations of what Chakotah's Manchita should produce. Auction Lot 6 Snow Diamond Select auction Kameli is the stunning result of bringing together five Futurity Herdsires of the Year. Her phenotytpe is faultless. Her fleece, refined! How often do you get the infusion of superior conformation, head style, presence and fleece together in the one package. The sire Tieva who had a handy show campaign has been a revelation for us with his production. We started him cautiously but his cria have been blessed with the fiber of the future. He is as of 2016 very busy. The mother, Chakotah’s Manchita, is a descendant of a grand dam, Manchita, who is also the mother of National and Futurity champion Pipeline and our very special multiple times Futurity Herdsire of the Year, and her sire is Chakotah of CCR Suris. If there is an indicator that we indeed value this line, the dam, Chakotah’s Manchita, is in our ET program for which only the special stud females are reserved. I am going to see how many people I piss off by introducing Kameli who is in the Snow Diamond Auction this weekend! Lot 6. When we first came to the US we did not want to show. Thought with all Jude's judging that it was kind of a conflict of interest. And its a lot of work, right! Then someone said, well you must not have the quality of animals to show. We showed. We did ok! Then the call was, well Pucara only breed for white. Then we produced Chakotah (several times Dark Futurity Herdsire of the Year) and then his son Wyuna, both Light and Dark Herdsire of the Year. My point...it is all in the careful planning of pedigree. Our auction girl Kameli reeks of careful planning. We have used Kahuna, MacGyver, Uribe and Durango in several very light line breeds and then infused some white stud females, like Ava Rose, Manchita ( dam of Futurity and National champion, Pipeline), Autumnell Goddess ( Wyuna's mother) and Kalina ( Chakotah's mother). The ARI cert of this girl is a lesson in layering white and colored genetics for production.
