Storybook’s Peruvian Introduction was the first cria to be born on our farm. As our foundation female’s (Snugglers’ Peruvian Carmeltina) second cria, our Legacy grandson was born without a hitch, and she mothered him as attentively as she has her others. “KTM Racer”, as he is lovingly referred to by our dirt-bike racing grandchildren, has turned heads since the day he was born. He has never walked an aisle at a show, been stalled at a fair, lead his team in a parade, or delighted children at an open house that he has not brought comments from people and alpacas alike! He placed in the top half of the ribbons in 5 consecutive shows including a 1st from Judge Jude Anderson and a 2nd next to Patagonia at Nationals after much consideration. In his same class at Nationals, his dam’s full brother took 3rd and was credited with the finest fleece in the class, attesting to the credibility of his genetics. Introduction has been complemented from the tip of his ears to the tip of his tail by a wide variety of judges. They have enjoyed everything from his bite to his legs and have repeatedly “appreciated his well-organized fleece.” One judge even commented that they had chosen him as the winner when he walked into the ring. We had hoped that this boy would be a great introduction to our story and we feel that he has been just that. With his gentle personality and head-turning confirmation, we think this Legacy Grandson has the potential to add a perfect presence to your herd and we are excited to give you that chance this spring. Introduction now has beautiful crias on the ground, grey from grey and always color at least as dark as the dam. He is a gentle but virile stud and we're certain that your girls will appreciate meeting with him. Every story needs a great Introduction! Our Introduction is available for drive-by breedings at a special price of only $900 through. Your girls will thank you! Introduction's sister, Atlas's Maia, has taken color and reserve champions and blue or first dark in every AOBA show class she has entered . Her genetics can be yours!

Sunshine stands one of the proudest animals in our pasture. As you drive up the lane, one of the first things you’ll see is the striking fawn, always ready to lead the way. She’s the curious girl and has a correct and pleasing confirmation to go with a very dense fleece. Sunshine has shown her impressive motherly instincts well. She has shown us just what textbook births are like, is a great milk producer, and a very attentive mom. Sunshine gave us a beautiful female in fall 2008 sired by the Champion, PLF Peruvian Juneau and a very nice boy from our own blue ribbon Legacy grandson, Storybook's Peruvian Introduction, in fall 2009. Repeating that breeding gave us a beautiful, shiny fawn female, Mato AKA Pocahontas followed by a beautiful shiny boy with very soft fleece and perfect conformation from our own Accoyo Goldsmith son, Storybook's Peruvian Spun Gold. Her breeding to the amazing Accoyo America Marathon gave us our adorable Madison Avenue. Sunshine gave us another adorable girl from our own grey multiple champion, Manifestation, in fall of 2013,Wynken, a stunning silver grey! Description

Storybook’s P Mato AKA Pocahontas is quite a girl. Her warm, soft, even fawn color just reminded us of an Indian princess, hence the name Pocahontas. But since Pocahontas’s real name was Matoaka, we had to put a little storybook twist on it. Pocahontas is a good-sized girl with great conformation and crimpy bundles of long shiny fleece. She has a perky face with the most expressive eyes you ever saw. Her dam, PLF P Sunshine, is the best production animal in our herd – an easy breeder and birther who has plenty of milk and is a very attentive mom. Pocahontas’s sire is our sweet-natured Legacy grandson, Storybook’s P Introduction, who carries on his grandpa’s beautiful conformation and coverage with what the judges liked to call “well-organized fleece.” We have really enjoyed the yarn from Pocahontas’s mom and are proud to add this new shiny fawn. Better yet, you can add her to your herd and while she’s increasing it, you can warm yourself in a sweater from soft fluffy yarn she’ll provide for you.
