Midnight is a "Blue Black" Aussie .38 Special son exhibiting a brightly bundled fleece showing good character and surprising softness for a black. Midnight's dam, Havanah (TB), is a sister to NeverSummer's Black Ice, 2008 Futurity Color Champion and International Supreme Champion. Certainly a great female with her production. Midnight has the obvious WOW! factor with his perfect presence and fine fleece that displays no medulation at 4-1/2 years. This is a very strong male showing excellent conformation, big bone structure, a stunning head and a perfect bite. Chelsi is a regal looking female with gorgeous medium grey fleece. Her blanket is virtually spot-free with a long staple. She has excellent confirmation and her first breeding to 38s Midnight Special NS produced our best cria yet and our first Reserve Color Champion. Chelsi's second cria, sired by Crescent Moon's Nitro, is a beautiful dark grey female with outstanding fleece! Her third cria is the best yet, another daughter, out of Crescent Moon's Wilkinson. For her 2018 cria, she has been bred to the 2016/2017 Herdsire of the Year--Neversummer's US Steel! Chelsi's lineage goes back five generation of silver. She has exceptional fiber with beautiful character and abundant covering good conformation. Her sire, Silver Elation is a rare dilute silver gray with an incredibly soft, well bundled and consistent fleece without any spots that is so dense, if feels like a heavy carpet. This male was born with a distinct Classic Silver Gray pattern which all but disappeared as his fiber dried. Every person who has seen him has been impressed by this amazing fleece that appears platinum in color with white in the neck, bib, face and legs. His cria are consistent as proven by his 2013 Get-of-Sire placement at the CABA Classic behind Accoyo America Navigator and HemiAccoyo Kashmir.

Legato Grigio is the assimilation of the 2 most important lines that we wanted to bring to our grey breeding program. He comes by his elite fleece not unexpectedly. Dad is RR Gun's A'Blazin' who has now shown by both histograms, and follicle skin testing that he is consistantly producing fineness, density and uniformity and was a 15 time banner winner. Mom, Snowmass Golden Dreams, has been one of our best producers. We have amassed countless banners from her offspring, among whom is our pre=potent herdsire Snowmass Midnight Sun. LG has demonstrated his pepotency repeatedly in his production. He is able to transmit solid grey as a dominant, in many shades. His progeny, as tested by histograms and biopsies (to date) attest to his prepotency...take a minute to check the stats on his offspring. There is but one to date that is not still in our herd...we have retained them all. His non grey production has championed in solid colors, fawn and black in particular. His pattern appears to be a spotting, not tuxedo , pattern and we have used him on solid colors with excellent success. He had not been bred to tuxedo patterns in the past (at his birth farm), but we have bred him to several of our tux girls who have produced tux cria.
