It's no wonder Sebastian is throwing grey, he's 6th generation grey with tons of grey genetics! Sebastian's cria have started hitting the ground running! In Spring 2015 he has been 3-for-3 in throwing tux greys out of brown, black and grey. They are all amazing cria so far. The product of a well planned out breeding from one of FTAF’s best grey girls, Pretty Lady, to their True Black 13X Champion herdsire, SHVN The Buccaneer. The outcome was spectacular. Sebastian has buttery soft fleece with a consistent crimp throughout his blanket, neck and legs. And oh what beautiful coverage! Pretty Lady and Buccaneer both are holding low microns for their age and have passed that on to their offspring. We expect that to hold true for Sebastian, too. His sire, SHVN The Buccaneer is the top herdsire at Full Tilt Alpacas and consistently produces high quality offspring. Buccaneer is a very true black male that has retained his fineness as even at 6 years old he was able to win his 13th championship. Every time he has won in the ring it has been due to his strong frame and the fact that he was finer than the other animals in the class, even those much younger than him. His dam, Pretty Lady, consistently produces exquisite offspring. Although she was never shown, her fleece was entered into many spinoffs and she has always gotten 1st place. Her fleece spun into yarn is absolutely stunning. Sebastian attended his first 2 shows, National Champions 2011 and OABA Alpacafest 2011, and took first place at both shows. The judges loved his look, the fineness of his fleece and his well balanced conformation! This guy is something special and everything you could hope to add to your offspring! Sebastian went on to win more 1st place ribbons and 2 banners in 2012! Judges comments were that is fleece was as fine as the juvies in the grey class when he was pushing 2 years of age! Then, in 2013 he went on to win 2 more banners – again the judge loved his looks and was amazed at the fineness he is retaining! NEWS UPDATE - Sebastian's paternal brother just won Black Male Color Champion at the 2015 Futurity! Quality runs in the blood!

Description

Opal, the product of our 4X Champ herdsire, Sebie, and our pinto female, Olivia, turned out to be a great female. With great fineness, staple length, and a fantastic disposition, she's one of our favorites on the ranch. In 2020, Opal had her first cria, sired by Crescent Moon's Wilkinson. And wow, what a wonderful surprise it was! Opal's dam's pinto pattern came through - and boy did it ever! The cria looks like a panda bear and is a favorite of all our ranch visitors. We'll be putting Opal back with Wilkinson for a 2021 cria.
