Powers Alpacas Rosita
Alpaca, Huacaya, Open (Female) | White
AOA #31600231 | DOB: 10/31/2009 (15 yrs)
Sire: Royal Fawn's Accoyo Centurion
31600231<--ari-->White<--color-->Owned in partnership with Champion Alpacas. Royal Fawn’s Accoyo Centurion will be available for breedings in California at Champion Alpacas.
Royal Fawn’s Accoyo Centurion has gorgeous bundling, crimpy, lustrous fiber and is dense, dense, dense! His skin biopsy came back with a S/P Ratio of 15.7/1. The testing was done by Jim Watts in Australia. Centurion is as typey as an Accoyo can come with fiber growing over his feet. His sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, and dam, Accoyo Dona, on both sides of the family tree are responsible for Centurion's quality. Both his Dam and GrandDam still exhibit exceptional conformation as well as fiber that remains dense, lustrous, fine and crimpy. Centurion is the cornerstone of a quality huacaya breeding program. Centurion's sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, sold for $600,000 in October 2005 and his fraternal brother, Dom Lucillio, sold for $400,000 at the 2004 Spring Fling!!!<--description-->
Dam: Hadassah-B
31600231<--ari-->White<--color-->Hadassah is full Peruvian with 1/2 Accoyo lineage. She would be an asset to anyone's breeding program. Although not the "looker," Hadassah has produced beautiful crias with gorgeous fiber. Her sire, CPeruvian Accoyo Arctic, was exported to Canada shortly after the last importation, so these genetics are not often available.
Hadassah's dam, PPPeruvian Accent is a full Peruvian female imported by Stachowski Alpacas from the Sollocota Region of Peru in 1995. Fiber stats when imported were AFD 19.0 SD 3.7 and CV 19.5. She has a very dense fleece with exceptional coverage. Even at 13 years young she still has nice character and luster to her fleece.
Hadassah is a half sister to multi blue ribbon winner and Color Champion Christopher-B. Christopher-B has won three championahips and is a 10 time blue ribbon winner. <--description-->
Description
Full Peruvian daughter out the sister of award winning Christopher B and Centurion.
Very good density and above average S:P ratio has delivered excellent SD’s for the two fiber populations on this very good breeding female. While the fiber population differential is 10 microns, the quality of the fibers overall outweighs what a smaller micron differential might have suggested as being very good.
Another excellent breeding female!
