Alta Sierra's Jerry G is the featured stud at Grand Mesa Alpacas. He is a decendent of the famed Christopher-B, and is a three time color champion from such shows as GWAS 2008, Southwest Regional 2008, and ABR Fall Festival 2007. Jerry has more than 31 offspring, 70% of which are female! His fleece is outstanding with bundling, crimp, density and softness combined. His full converage and solid conformation passes on to his cria. At 30 months of age, his skin biopsy results (Watts method) were 18.4 micron diamter, 48 folicle density, and 12.1 secondary to primary ratio.<--description-->

Description
This in an above average female exhibiting excellent fleece traits supported by a good density and secondary to primary fiber ratiio. The fiber population differential is very good as exhibited by the low micron counts and very good std dev figures. Joselyn has been bred to our award winning White Knight - a breeding sure to deliver quality genetics either for sale or as the foundation line for an elite herd of alpacas.
We are quite pleased with Joselyn's 2013 and 2014 EPD results and recognition at the 2014 Nationals as being the fifth best female in the US national herd for fleece weight.
