We are thrilled and honored to own this FULL ACCOYO, Medium Fawn herdsire along with our friends from Whimsical Acres Alpacas Ivy Kirsh-Goldstein and Scott Goldstein. We would like to thank Mary Goodman in allowing us to acquire such a wonderful herdsire. Mary's Accoyo Barbary is the most magnificent male. He is a Grand Champion winner and multiple blue ribbon winner and the full brother of Mary's Accoyo Hudson, Champion of Champions (by 3 independent judges from Peru, USA and Canada)! Mary feels Barbary is just as fabulous! Barbary is the cross of the A & B lines of Don Julio Barreda's breeding program in Peru. His sire Camilio's Accoyo Endurance has won many competitions and Barbary himself is a halter Grand Champion. Not bad! You will not find a more wonderful herdsire. His personality and attitude are as outstanding as his elite fiber, impeccable conformation and regal presence! Barbary has thrown some incredible alapcas. We are very happy with what we have gotten from his breedings. If you are looking for a full accoyo male - or are interested in taking the level up of your herd - look at our herdsires - and look at Barbary - he has excellent fleece, great consistent color, and great temperment! He steals everyone's heart! We love Barbary and all the Barbary cria.

Derwydd Grand Morenos Ch'ulla

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Brown

Ch'ulla isn't just the daughter of Champions; she is a champion, winning that illustrious title at the 2007 Empire Extravaganza. She easily won her blue and the judge said she clearly won over the other girls in her blue ribbon round. But for us it was our first and really really exciting. Empire was the first show we went to as spectators, and it became the very first show we won a blue at, and then to follow up with our very first championship!! Excellent!!! I knew Ch'ulla could do it. We were lucky enough to pick up this daughter of two amazing champions from Derwydd Alpacas at The East Meets West Auction. Here is what the auction listing said: HMMM can you say Unique Color?? Density?? Crimp?? Presence?? SHINE?? This lovely lady has it all along with silver tipping on her head, tail and toes. She is really a looker!! ΒΌ Accoyo, full Peruvian, full color. Her Dam AND Sire are multiple color champion winners! She has champion half brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. Her maternal grandsire, El R Peruvian Luciano, is grey and the sire of the 2006 Futurity high selling huacaya female (100k!). She has excellent bone, a very pleasing head, good density, great coverage, lovely handle and consistent frequency in crimp and uniformity. 2nd Place at GWAS 2007, 2nd Place AWE 2007 !! Chulla means unique in Quechua well she is and WOW would you have a great time with this gal in your colored breeding program! And yes we fully intend to. Chulla gave birth to a lovely bay black girl out of Snowmass Casanova who we named "Cassandra". Her latest breeding was with our newest herdsire, Mary's Accoyo Barbary. She gave us an excellent male - blue ribbon winner Corsair. We had Roxy from Centaur 2 years ago. And now Chulla is bred to Tres Equis. Can't wait for that 2022 cria!! We love this girl.
