Pixie Sticks
Alpaca, Huacaya, Bred (Female) | True Black
AOA #31686228 | DOB: 5/28/2009 (15 yrs) (Due Date: 4/11/2015)
Sire: LSH Paladin
31686228<--ari-->Bay Black<--color-->Paladin is a half Peruvian black male out of solid grey and black lineage. His fleece exhibits high frequency crimp, with sponge-like density and head to toe coverage. His sire is 5 Peruvian Royal Inca Legend, a well known grey herdsire who consistently threw grey and black offspring with exceptional fleece. His dam, KPR Rose Mist, is an extremely dense, crimpy female with grey going back three generations and black in three great-grandparents. Paladin's first cria won first place in his age group and went on to take the color Championship in his first show at the age of only 11 months. Two others have won Color Champion and Reserve Champion.
Paladin has a regal quality. He stands alert and strong. He has settled maidens the first time. We found finding a male of Paladin's quality difficult. If you are looking for a bay black sire to breed to, look no further. Paladin's breeding fee is affordably priced to bring his great qualities to your herd.<--description-->
Dam: Tellico
31686228<--ari-->Medium Brown<--color-->Tellico is my formal name. My nickname is Coco. I am full Peruvian. Out of all the alpacas my owners looked at before starting their herd, they chose me. They were very complimentary of my confirmation, straight legs and beautiful maroon fleece.
I took second in the 2004 MOPACA Show Spin Off. I have easy, on time births and always have plenty of milk.
Check out my youngest daughter, Pixie Sticks born 2009. She is a true black from head to toe with what I can say is "yummy" fleece. It has awesome length, luster and character. Coco had a miscarriage June 2010 so we decided to not breed her until fall of 2011. If purchased now, you can choose one of our herd sires to breed to her.<--description-->
Service Sire: Mister Snickers
Description
Pixie Sticks has amazing true black, lusterous fleece. Her confirmation is dead-on and she has a gentle personality to bring you an entire package. You can see the bundling in her fleece in one of her pictures. Her 2011 fleece was professionally graded at a 2 with a comment of "exceptionally nice."
Pixie had an uncomplicated 1st cria with plenty of milk. Pixie 2nd cria is a girl and she was just as attentive as with her first. The family who boarded her until her cria, Sweetest Sweet Tart was 6 months old, commented that she was such a nice alpaca to work with: never spit and allowed the kids to handle her.
