Diablo comes from a dam who has thrown us a champ, and a sire who is a 6x blue ribbon winner 3x champion AND a Judges Choice award for Fleece!!! Kodiak Express - whose sire is well known to everyone - Accoyo Express. Diablo earned his name because when he was born his ears made him look devilish. I really held off trying to come up with another name...but Rob was right, and Diablo it is. Diablo has done very well in his show career. 3 purple banners!!! 7 blues. color champion at the Big E 2012, Color champion for fleece at the Green Mountain and Reserve Color Champion at the Southern Select Fleece show. He has a great square build and obviously terrific fleece. great structure and architecture, and soft soft soft! Diablo has been throwing wonderful cria. We are very happy with him. See about your breeding needs! We would consider co-owning Diablo. if you are interested let us know. He is throwing us great crias!

Painted Spring's Hope

Hope is just that - she was our last hope for a girl the year she was born. Finally after the birth of 6 boys, we finally got one with indoor plumbing! Hope is everything we knew she would be - a breeding with our best girl + our best guy = fantastic! Hope does have a brown spot on her shoulder so she should be able to produce color when bred to color. We've worked hard to achieve our white breeding program and it's paying off with crimp and density along with some of the best and the straightest conformation I've seen. Hope is worth a look if you want to breed for quality white animals. Hope gave birth to her first cria in October 2013. She's the cutest little pip and we just love her as much as mom. We were thrilled with her 2016 shearing. One of the longest staples we sheared - just lovely structure and crimp. Hope was bred to Rosehaven's Diablo in 2014 after we saw what he produced last year. That produced a white male with some of the finest fleece I've seen on the farm. He just had his first shearing so it will be fun to see how he develops over time. Oct 18 Update: Hope gave birth to what I think is our cutest baby ever. He's med fawn with the biggest eyes. He is out of Black Warrior. His personality is to die for - friendly and curious. My favorite of the year! Pics coming soon. November 2020: Hope gave birth to a white male with perfect conformation and what looks like it will be amazing fiber. His 2023 shearing provided us with the heaviest fleece in our herd. Spring 2023 - Hope delivered a white boy with what looks to be great fleece (again) out of our boy Hercules. Hope would make a great animal for someone starting a small herd.

Description

Beazel comes from one of best lines - Iago & Eternity. His fleece would definitely be considered a silky. I don't have the fiber stats back yet, but I expect his juvie fleece will come in right around 15 microns. Update: They are back and I was right - he comes in at a 15.5 micron. What's surprising is his density. Sometimes those silky fleeces will fool you. He is dense, crimpy and fine. All the things that make the perfect fiber animal. His sister Diamond has exquisite fleece and his is looking very similar. They have the same look and he even looks like his mom when she was young. We have had an over abundance of boys over these last 2 years and we just can't keep them all. Beazel is smaller framed like his mother and is easy to work with and has a general good disposition.
