An entry of three white juvenile males, sired by Snowmass Starz Legend, won the Get of Sire Class at the 2016 AOA National Show in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Without any question this young male has shown the best combination of superior traits in fleece and overall structure. He has the highest skirted fleece weight at 5.5 lbs, with superior density and remains Royal in his grade to date. He is truly our number one Snowmass Elite Legend son. We have heard the same resounding messages from the highest level judges at the highest level shows. He has won 2 White Futurity Championships 2010 and 2012. He was awarded a 3rd place in Oxford England at the 2012 World Fleece Show. This was a huge competition with the finest of all fleeces over the world. He was also awarded a second for us as an entry in the international fleece competition for The Most Uniform Breeding Program and individually took a 1st place in his fleece division over all of our and other breeders entries. This ½ Accoyo grand-daughter of SA Accoyo Royal Avenger likes to show off her high quality fiber. She has well defined and bold crimp and super fine fiber with an average fiber diameter of 21.7 microns, an ultra low SD of 4.4 and a CV of only 20.5! She gets these fine fiber characteristics from her full Accoyo sire, SA Accoyo Royal Avenger, whose own first micron average was 19.7. Her full coverage is another super genetic trait that she gets from Avenger as well as her sire, Black Magic Man, who is out of Peruvian Black Magic, one of the pre-eminent black herdsires ever imported from Peru. Black Magic Man is Full Peruvian with nothing but color in his background. His fleece is very fine and bright with a deep, tight crimp! ... envied on any alpaca but especially on a true black.
