TGF Ludicrous is a unique fawn/rose gray male with elite genetics in his pedigree. Ludicrous is the full package. His frame is compact, square and balanced and phenotypically there isn't much to improve upon. He has a beautiful typey head with coverage from top knot to toes. His fleece is fine & bright with density and uniformity of character across the blanket and extending to all of his extremities.
TGF Ludicrous is the first offspring out of multiple Color Champion, NM Layla. Layla is the full sister to another multiple Color Champion, NM Beethoven. Ludicrous represents the first cross between Snowmass Legacy Gold and the genetics that Layla and her brother Beethoven hold.
Ludicrous has had a full career and carried on his outstanding traits. He has been a joy to share with the alpaca breeding community. He is now enjoying his retirement in beautiful Unity Maine where he continues to delight visitors and produce beautiful yarn.

Summer Snow is gorgeous white alpaca with loads of incredible fleece that makes up into beautiful, soft, plush yarn! Summer was born right here on the farm to a sweet mom named Savannah who is brown, and our absolute sweetest herd sire, Ludicrous who is medium fawn! What a surprise color she was to see! She's a generously sized girl with amazing fiber coverage, assuring an incredible fiber yield every year. Her staple length is long, the glisten in her color is spectacular and the softness is outstanding! Summer gave us a sweet baby girl back in June, 2021, named Carina. You only have to see her daughter, (Summer's Mini-me), to know the potential, should someone choose to breed her once again. She has a wonderfully social personality, enjoying our farm visitors at arms length. She is halter and lead trained, and with the right companion along side, likes to go for walks around the farm. Summer is part of our Buy and Board program, so if purchased, she will go at this incredibly reduced price with the condition that she remains here at the farm with her friends and family. Purchase Terms
Purchase of this alpaca requires a one time payment, in full before transfer of ownership. The registration of the alpacas will remain in the owners name until the purchase price is paid in full. Boarding will be at a rate of $6.00 per day.
