Have you met Duke? He creates Champions!! Duke did not enter the show ring until he was 18 months of age, on September 26, 2009 in Michigan. Under Wade Gease, Wade said "this male is a rarity..the "TOTAL" total package" Duke was awarded First Place and Reserve Color Champion (staple length is what separated champ and reserve)!!! The following week, Duke's second show at the Indiana Heartland Classic, he brought home the Blue Ribbon again! Duke's third show in November at OABA in Columbus, OH, Duke took second place behind Magical Farms, a PC Running Late Son, great company to be in I would say. Jude Anderson, Judge said "this guy is the total package" words we had heard before! 2011 AOBA National Fleece Spin Off....1st Place in a class of 11. RESULTS ARE IN "JUDGE CHOICE" HIGHEST SCORING DARK FLEECE, 1ST PLACE AT EMPIRE FLEECE SPIN OFF...DUKE JUST CONTINUES TO GET BETTER AND BETTER...IS IT TIME TO COME AND MEET DUKE! DUKE FIRST PLACE AT 2010 AOBA NATIONALS FLEECE SPIN OFF. DUKE FIRST PLACE WITH HIGHEST POINTS. Bloodline: his Sire El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, PCA Accoyo El Nino, PPeruvian Caligula, 4 Peruvian Royal Condor ( His Dam Duchess Wellington I is still with us on our farm, come and meet her!) Duke's is wearing fleece that is dark chocolate rich brown, dense, tactile crimp and fine. What a combination. He is straight, big boned, conformation perfection, and stunning to look at, gorgeous with his black points.

Description

Oh My! Gail and I met at the Best of the U S Alpaca Show in March, she came for a seminar. Then she met and fell in love with Storm and A.J., our two little males, Gail says Storm had her at "hello"! After picking up the boys and returning home to Michigan, Gail and Richard (her husband) fell in love with the temperament of our alpacas and "asked for first rights of refusal on any crias born in the spring". Well long story short...Gail and Richard came to visit the farm after all crias were born and we are proud to say that all 2015 crias have been sold and will make their way to Gibraltar Bay after weaning, we are hoping they will be under their Christmas Tree! The name? Since the crias had not yet been registered, we offered to add their farm name to the crias. We had chosen the first names of the crias, and we were happy that Gail and Richard added Gibraltar Bay to their new family. Congrats to all of us! So who is Clarissa? A gorgeous, phenotype perfection, dark fawn female that is stunning! Our boarder owned Clarissa, the daughter of Miss Charlie Rose-LB, she is the daughter of Charles P Atlas -MF and APV Holly Berry , and Clarissa's Sire is our Michelangelo's Duke of Wakeman -DB, son of El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo and Duchess Wellington I. We are thrilled, Clarissa is making her way to Michigan! Congratulations to Gail Yancheck-Steffke and her husband Richard, we are honored!
