Of all the outside purchases to enhance our program. She has been known to feed up to 4 babies at one time. Capulet is mother to all and passes along this trait to her daughters. We also purchased her mother to bring the right number of foundation dams to start producing white offspring for sale with the highest density integration into our herd. We strive to be the premiere white small breeders of the Northern and Western California Region. Capulet brings a new ability to infuse fiber density into our foundation animals. She is proven and gave us a beautiful foundation girl (Temptress) for our program. Every year I am so impressed with what she can produce. She has given us 3 female cria of good size and bone, lots of face & leg coverage, staple length and retained fineness. Capulet at age eight sheared almost 9 lbs of fleece. We want all breeders in the region to come to Colusa Riverside Alpacas for their white breeding needs or their need to integrate superior trait genetic values into their herd regardless of color. A breeding to one of our herdsires will guarantee fiber fineness and will bring about an offspring of extreme density. Capulet's dam is Juliette who is the elite El Nino Manchu' daughter. Outstanding genetics up and down. Capulet EPDs are totally respectable. The phenotype of her fiber is award winning. She has ideal conformation and perfect bite. There is no doubt Capulet's offspring will inherit superior density. As you can see from her EPDs she is ideal for a foundation dam for fleece density. This particular blood line has a high degree of accuracy and provides insurance that this dam will produce offspring predicted by these statistical rankings. Description

Maxima is being sold to reduce our herd size and we don't intend to breed him or campaign him. Maxima won first place at the California State Fair for white fleece. He has very nice EPDs and if you are breeding to improve you fleece he would be a good choice. All our boys are very well mannered, and Bogart makes gentlemen out of all of his offspring. He is well halter broken, and can be managed very easily. He has well above average EPDs and his histogram shows excellent fiber quality. Take a look at his histogram, it is truly very good. His AFD is very low, is SD is under 4.0, his CV is 20, and he has good staple length. He would definitely be ideal for spinning his raw fleece. He will give mountains of fleece. He has ideal fiber. I would certainly breed him if we did not have many other herdsires. His genetics will produce offspring with good fleece too. Max's sire, MSA Heminway's Bogart, has produced some of the finest alpacas in our breeding program and around the nation. Bogart a product one of the US last imports. He quickly made a name for himself. That fine fiber, longevity of fineness and EPDs carry through to his offspring regardless of the dam. Bogart has never went over 22 micron in his lifetime and was one of the US’s first persistently fine herdsires. This is a characteristic we see over and over in his offspring.
