We are thrilled to bring Casa to our farm!! I have been looking for an Accoyo Elite offspring to work into our herd and Casa will do a wonderful job!!! It is exciting to see a breeding male still be competitive as he ages at show! His relatives have a proven track record with quality fleeces, and award winners and we look forward to his offspring being born here and carrying on those same traditions!! Casa has been recognized as a Top 1% EPD trait leader for 2014 AND 2015 by the Alpaca Owners Association! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree though as his sire, Elite was also a Top 1% trait leader and ranked 5th overall for his low AFD (fineness), 3rd overall for % medulation, and 4th for spin fineness for 2013!!! Several other relatives to Casa were top 1% trait leaders as well! If you are wanting to improve your girls EPD's book your date with Casablanca!! He can offer you strong, square and straight conformation, excellent fiber character, wonderful density, and a bright fleece that is low in variation. He offers all of this as an 11 year old! I have made the very tough decision to focus on our color program and am gradually selling our white alpacas. I am keeping Casa's daughter Arya and even though he is sooo sweet and is one of the easiest breeding males I have had in a LONG time, I am going to make him available. His quality at this selling price is extremely hard to find!! I would also consider a half interest partner or trading him for a female of color...preferably light fawn, dark brown, black, or grey.
