Sold - Congratulations to Nancy Chapel of Alpaca Country Estates! Ike's advanced Judge's Choice fleece, which scored 87 points - puts him in a very very small class of elite classic gray herd sires. And, in halter, he was awarded Color Champion at arguably the toughest halter show in the country, the Futurity. Judged to be superior in quality, by senior judges, in both halter and fleece shows. In showing, This is the mark of an elite male. And, in terms of Production - he's already produced National Champions in both Black and Gray. Please see his fleece score card pictured here. Scores such as these are rarely awarded to alpacas of any color. His first Three shearings have each won at least one championship - proving lasting quality. Ike started settling girls when he was just 21 months old, he is a pleasure to manage as a sire. I fell in love with Ike at first sight (and feel), at the 2013 Futurity, when he was 7 months old. Thank you to Gary Henderson of Keva Ranch Alpacas, for producing Ike, and allowing him to join us here at Delphi! At 8 months of age - YM's laserscan = 13.9 / 2.8 / 20.0 / 0.4% >30 At 20 months of age: 5-16-14: AFD 16.31 / SD 3.44 / CV 21.1 / 100% CF At 32 months of age: 5-24-15: AFD 20.5 / SD 4.2 / CV 20.7 / CF 97.3% At 44 months: 5-23-16: AFD 22.5 / SD 4.6 / CV 20.6 / CF 93.2% / curve 59.8 He's definitely the total package.

Ike is closed to outside breedings. Crias shown in the 'all of Ike's kids' picture posted here, include All of Ike's kids born to Delphi girls thru Jan 2019 at Delphi, except two that left with their mom's as little babies. His production consistency is unmatched. :^)

Description

It is easy to recommend this girl as a great addition to your program. ~ Two Classic Grey Parents ~ An Ike daughter ~ Her mom is extremely fine too! ~ Honey exhibits exceptional density and character in her cria fleece. AFD 17.4. ~ Beautiful conformation, she is LOVELY! ~ She is likely to be a "stealth grey" - carrying the classic grey genetics - considering her interesting facial markings and her parentage. She is really maturing nicely - Fleece Machine!!! Just a massive amount of very fine fleece on this girl. I love this girl more every day - this is a great price for her kind of quality. Watch for her at GWAS this year. ;^) With two grey parents, and her interesting markings on her top knot and face, she could be what we call a stealth grey. We'd love to breed her grey and see what she throws. But her golden fleece is just beautiful as it is. An Ike daughter - with her mom's super fine fleece - she has the genetics and phenotype that indicate she has huge potential for extraordinary quality in any color. SOLD
