Buccaneer is finally retired from showing and loves being a full time stud! We ended his show career on a high note which was due to his fleece is retaining it's amazing quality and retaining it's fineness! Buccaneer also has a powerful frame and that power continues into the fleece. He is also proving his strength in being a breeding male by the high quality offspring he is producing! This is the true black herdsire to check out and with offspring on the ground and winning ribbons and championships in the shows what more could you want! The Buccaneer is definately pleasing us with his offspring as he is passing on his fineness, excellent bone and gorgeous head! He has also been correcting conformation issues which is one of the hardest things to correct. He is simply amazing...we do believe that the reason he is maintaining his fineness is due to his dam, Hana. We did a Histogram on her 2010 fleece, which would make her 10 years old, and it was still holding a 21 micron. Truly Incredible! Buccaneer has one of the best show records for a True Black, with 13 banner (8 of those as an adult) he has proven that he is a top of the line male and now he is proving it again with his offspring! Black-Eye Pea is a true black with fine fiber, good density, tight crimp, a soft, buttery hand and a great disposition. Pea was sired by Patagonia's Kaspa and her grandsire is El Padre. She definitely has density in her background. Her '07 cria was a spectacular grey female (Heatherbrook's Cutie Pea) who was a multiple winner in the '08 show ring. Her '08 cria was a true black male (Black Legend) out of Legend's Challenger of KPR. He was a part of our fall, '09 show string. Her '09 cria was a light fawn male (Harley) out of High Plains Samson. Her '10 cria was a true black female (Black Mist) out of the 7X Color Champion Heatherbrook's Mercury. She was a part of our 2011 show string. Susans fleece is highly developed and shows advance-fineness, density, and high frequency crimp character throughout her blanket. Her Sire lineage is the one and only SHVN The Buccaneer. Susan produced a beautiful tuxedo style silver grey cria as a maden. Her cria has supper fineness, excellent bone conformation, as well as a gorgeous face and head. What a way to inaugurate our herd dynamics with the progeny of Buccaneer & Black-Eyed Pea ..the future is very promising with Susan on board. Susans cria is named Riposo's Heavens Grace who was sired by Challenger's Boomer (MSG) ARI# 31602594. Also Susans histogram indicates a 19.0 micron mean fiber diameter. We are very pround of Susan and her first cria....She has an awesome frame and that strong suit continues into her fleece- shes certainly a by-product of 13 banner winner The Buccaneer.
