SA Peruvian Susiana is a brilliantly white full Peruvian gorgeous dam. She is well balanced, square, broad chested & heavy boned. Susiana is very typey and has fancy stylish look with full coverage and a full bouffant topknot. She also has a great reproduction history, producing crias of color that sell with ease. What makes her so special? She has a limited background of stellar genetics. Her dam was a MF 6Peruvian import who produced 50% show offspring and 80% were color! Susiana’s sire is one of the best Full Peruvian grey males in the country, HA Shades of Grey, a MRG male noted for very soft dense & crimpy fleece that her passes to his offspring. Shades is a 1st place winner at AOBA Nat’ls and a 1st & Color Champion at MAPACA too! He currently has 135 registered offspring. 41% are either grey or true black, which says al lot when you see he was only bred 35% of the time to grey or true black. His offspring are highly sought after since many have became champions, producing champions. A few to note are: S&L Peruvian Shades of Grace = 10 blues (including AOBA Nat’ls) + 8 CHAMPION BANNERS , who produced Irish Meadows P Shades of Silver (LSG) who has 5 banners, including 2011 AOBA Nat’ls! PLF Peruvian Enigma = 3 blues (including AOBA Nat’ls) + 1 Color CHAMPION, who produced all grey and black offspring that are 1st place and Banner winners. Shades’s sire is 5Peruvian Silverado, a potent DSG with 60% registered offspring are grey or black. We think so highly of these genetics that we have decided to keep her daughter, Aussie Hill’s Pandora for our foundation. Susiana is wonderful and would be great for a foundation. She has a proven track record of producing lovely cria year after year, 60% being ribbon winners. Over the years she has produced WH, LF, and MF, however she was only bred to WH, LF and MF. XXXtreme Xclipse has received 4 Judge's choices and 8 color championships including 2013 Futurity. Xclipse spent the summer, a couple years ago, in Oregon at Amanda VandenBosch's farm, Flying Dutchman Alpacas. Amanda loves this male and bought 12 breedings for her own herd. He is one of a kind. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy on Xclipse in April 2013. His true density is 89.5 follicles SQ MM of skin. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 17.1 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged only 22.8 microns. This equates to a mincron variation of only 5.7 microns. His density, gland presence, fineness of both secondary and primary fibers as along with narrow spread place Xclipse in the top 1% of males evaluated by Norm Evans. We have been extremely pleased with the cria/offspring he is producing for us. Keep an eye on Bobbi Sox in the 2022/2023 show seasons. Jane made us extremely proud at the 2013 Empire Trifecta and Green Mountain Fall Spectacular fleece shows! She took home her first Purple Banner winning the Light Huacaya Championship in Syracuse!! Judges comments were "Wow-soft, bright, uniform with excellent staple length!" Crazy Jane scored a perfect 20 points for fineness and handle! Crazy Jane is an adorable light fawn maiden with serious potential as a future foundation gal! Her fleece is simply stunning with an initial AFD of 13.7! WOW! She is also holding onto this fineness as seen by her 3 year histogram AFD of 18.3! This is the level of extreme fineness we aspire to achieve across our herd. Jane had a very promising evaluation in her first year by respected AOBA judge and fiber expert Wade Gease. She has great conformation, a perfect bite, and a beautifully full top knot. To top it off, she has a sweet temperament. It has been noted that she has a superior merino fleece style with "tight streaming locks" possessing high frequency, low amplitude crimp. Besides having super density and wonderful handle. Crazy Jane's pedigree is not too shabby either. Her sire is the late champion "Aussie Hill's Imagine", a MFI Jericho son who earned 8 blue ribbons and 2 banners during his show career and sired many incredible, show-winning offspring. Imagine's dam is MFI Candy Corn who maintains lingering fineness with an AFD of 19 at 12 years of age! Crazy Jane's half-sister Para Siempre Princess (also an Imagine cria) was a top selling female at the recent 2014 AOA National auction. Crazy Jane's dam is elite production female, "Aussie Hill's Susiana" who has limited grey genetics in her background. Susiana's dam was a medium fawn 6Peruvian import. Her sire is one of the best full Peruvian grey males in the country, HA Shades of Grey, a very famous, champion, medium rose grey stud. Update. Crazy Jane had a really nice male fawn cria out of RR Mercutio. This boy is sure to be show material! She is rebred to Snowmass Extreme Eclipse and due in June 2018.
