PHA Accoyo Zagot

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30911383DOB: 8/15/200717 yrs
Elite, rare & colored full Accoyo genetics comprise our newest herdsire, Accoyo Zagot, who has his first confirmed pregnancies. At his very first fleece show, Zagot earned a blue ribbon (out of 7) and a COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP in lights! He also just took a blue in halter at the NJ Alpaca Show. Elite - Zagot is a powerhouse of Accoyo genetics. He is a cross of 2 of the best Accoyo parents out there. His sire is the recently deceased El Nino, considered by many to be the best son of Caligula. El Nino was described by a prominent judge as "the perfect alpaca" and took the coveted title of All American Alpaca Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 05. Zagot's dam is Astillero, a 95 import who has clearly produced some of the best full Accoyos in this country - a full brother to Zagot, Francisco (4 time champion),Stratosphere (5 Blues), & Armando who stands stud at Hilltop Alpacas. Zagot's sire & dam have both had a tremendous influence on the national herd. We are anxious for Zagot to have such an influence on our own herd. Rare - Zagot's bloodlines are about as rare as they come. He is a medium fawn full Accoyo which is rare enough. He is the last in his maternal bloodline. His dam died when Zaggot was only 2 months old. His sire, El Nino, died just months ago. Zagot's heritage simply can't be duplicated. Zagot is 1 of only 4 fawn full Accoyos that El Nino produced. Color - There are a very, very small # of fawn full Accoyos out there to begin with. Zagot is a fawn out of 2 of the best white Accoyos available in this country. His sire has produced several dark brown & a true black cria & his dam has produced 2 cria from different sires that have thrown black cria. With Zagot's dark gums and nails, he has a darn good chance of producing dark cria himself. We quite simply are thrilled to have him on our farm. His first cria here at Ideuma Creek have amazing fleece. He sired a bright, crimpy, uniform full Accoyo fawn girl, Accoyo Divinity, that we can't wait to show and our most recent addition to our herd, Peruvian Alexandra who has crimpy-beyond-belief fleece! PHA Accoyo Zagot is proudly co-owned with our good friends, Kevin & Martha Cady of Gentle Breeze Alpacas. His breeding fee is for a limited # of outside breedings.

See Mother/Daughter Package deal.............. What can I say about Ivy - she is a lot of alpaca packed into a small frame. Ivy continues to amaze us; in 2013; at the age of 7, her micron count was still at 23.6 with a standard deviation of 3.8 and she was named one of AOA's Top 5 EPD Trait Leaders for SDAFD and was in the top 1 % for the traits %F>30 and MC and the Top 10% for the traits AFD, SF and SDMC. In 2014, at age 8, she missed being in the Top 5 for SDAFD by 1 - she was #6 - but was in the Top 1% for SDAFD, %F>30 and MC and again in the Top 10% AFD, SF, SDMC and %M and at age 9 in 2015 had again been named a Top 5 Trait Leader for SDAFD, and continued to be in the Top 1% for %F>30; and the Top 10% for AFD, MC, SF & %M. Now currently at the age of 10 years Ivy is still going strong! She is currently #18 out of 39,442 alpacas in SDAFD placing her at the Top 1%, she also remains in the Top 1% for %F>30 and is in the Top 10% for AFD, SF, MC, and SDMC. Ivy's genetics are very rare and very sought after in this Country. Ivy's dam was Peruvian Gianna who had a history for producing elite quality cria. Ivy's sire is Alpha Antonio, from Canada and, although he's never been shown himself, he is the sire of multiple ribbon winners in Canada and the USA. At the 2008 Alpaca Ontario show he was awarded 4th of 16 in the Get of Sire class and he is the sire of AGA Sigourney who was awarded Supreme Champion Huacaya Female over 110 other females!! Alpha Antonio is the product of two renowned Jolimont Peruvian imports, his sire Alpa Mayo said to have had the "greatest impact of any stud in Canada on the National Herd and Peruvian Anna a full Alianza, with several grand champion progeny. Ivy has given us three very special cria, Zinnia, a medium fawn; blue ribbon winner in fleece 2013 American Fiber Rally, 1st Place fleece 2014 STA Hummdinger Show, 2nd Place fleece 2013 Green Mountain Alpaca Fall Spectacular.Zinnia has consistently placed in the Top 1 - 10% on AOA's EPD Trait Leaders reports in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for the traits of SDAFD, SF, %F>30, MC, and SDMC. ; Iris, a bay black; 2nd place in halter in 2015 at North American Alpaca Show and 3rd place in fleece in 2015 at the AOA National Show. Iris also took 1st in halter in 2014 at the STA Hummdinger Show and 1st place in fleece at the 2014 Empire fleece Symposium. Iris placed in the Top 10% of AOA's EPD Trait Reports of the National Herd for 2016, the trait of SDAFD; and Peony, whose sire is our herdsire, Rock Gardens Accoyo Cosmo, a beautiful dark fawn girl with fine, long, crimpy, dense fleece exhibiting all the characteristics of both of her parents. Her 1st year fiber stats were fantastic! 18.5 microns, Standard Deviation 4.7, Coefficient 25.2%, Spin Fineness, 18.7, Fibers>30 1.9% with a comfort factor of 98.1%. Her very first EPD report places her in the Top 1% for %F>30 at #388 and the Top 5% for AFD #1317, SDAFD #1366, SF #1129, MC #569 and %M #510.

Description

See Mother/Daughter Package deal.............. What a face since day one. Zinnia is a sweet beautiful, medium fawn alpaca with a very rare bloodline and fleece that is extremely fine and uniform throughout. Ribbons include 1st Place 2014 STA Hummdinger - Fleece. 1st Place 2013 American Fiber Rally - Fleece. 2nd Place 2013 Green Mountain Fall Spectacular - Fleece and 3rd Place 2012 American Fiber Rally – Fleece. Zinnia has consistently placed in the Top 1 - 15% on AOA's EPD Trait Leaders reports since 2013. Zinnia's dam is our girl, Gianna's Peruvian Ivy, who in 2013, at age 7 was named one of AOA's Top 5 EPD Trait Leaders for SDAFD and was in the top 1 % for the traits %F>30 and MC and the Top 10% for the traits AFD, SF and SDMC. At the age of 11 she continues to place in the Top 1% for SDAFD & %F>30 and the Top 5% for AFD, SF, MC and %M. As of 2017 her micron count was 24.4. Zinnia's sire is PHA Accoyo Zagot, also with rare genetics; he is a medium fawn full Accoyo which is rare enough. He is the last in his maternal bloodline, His dam died when Zagot was only 2 months old. His sire, El Nino recently died so Zagot's heritage can not be duplicated, he is 1 of only 4 fawn full accoyos that El Nino produced. Zagot has earned a color championship as well as blue ribbons in both halter and fleece. We bred Zinnia to Accoyo Cuba Libre, a 5X Ribbon winner and whose genetics are rare and known for producing elite offspring for her 2014 cria. This was Zinnias first cria and we were very excited for her. They produced a beautiful black girl we named Rock Garden Alpacas Perucoyo Petunia. Petunia's fiber is extremely long, fine and crimpy and took 3rd Place at the 2016 AOA Nationals Fleece Show. In 2014 we bred Zinnia to our herdsire, Rock Gardens Accoyo Cosmo who has once again been named one of AOA's Top 5 EPD Trait Leaders for 2017 in fleece weight and will be featured in their presentation during the Alpaca Owners Association National Show and Auction in 2018. We expected this pairing to bring an outstanding cria and it did! Gladiola arrived with a little assistance from us and is a fantastic medium fawn girl like her mother with fine, dense, crimpy long, soft fleece like her father. We are very pleased with how this breeding turned out, it really couldn't miss - at age 1 Gladiola's micron was 21.3 with a standard deviation of 5.0; coefficient of variation 23.3, spin fineness 21.1, Fibers>30 4.9%, with a comfort factor of 95.1%. Her first EPD Test results in 2016 placed her in the Top 1% for FW, the Top 10% for %F>30, MC and %M and the Top 15% for AFD, SDAFD and SF. Her results for 2017 placed her in the Top
