Loads of long, white, crimpy fiber on this big beautiful girl. As a cria, Crystal was a "silky", and since has changed to very long, high amplitude stunning shiny fiber. Crystal packs a power house of lineage, carrying Caligula, Goliath, Felix, Fandango, Bueno, Royal Fawn, and Leon. Crystal is a strong boned tall girl, but her claim to fame is the amazing amounts of stunning fleece she produces. Her 3 year old blanket was 8lbs. She is the fiber producers dream. Crystal has been solely bred to Mile High Tahona, our 13x blue ribbon winner and 5 x champion and son of the Fabulous El Ninos Golden Legend. This match has been outstanding, and produced incredible cria.
Update 2014: Crystal delivered a stunning biege Mile High Tahona son who weighed in at 22 lbs at birth! He has amazing bone and size, only to be topped by his dense luxurious fleece. Touch of Gold followed in his mothers footsteps, by being a silky at birth. Crystal is a great mom, with plenty of milk and (mostly) delivered this big guy without help, even though he was her first. (I couldnt help not giving just a few tugs because of his size!) He produces massive amounts of stunning fiber, like his dam. Crystal is bred back to Tahona for a 2016 cria. Touch of Gold has sold
Update 2016: Crystal has again impressed us with a beautiful beige/white girl that has really raised the bar. Just like her brother, she was born a silky, with amazing amounts of extra bright fleece. She weighed in just short of 20 lbs at birth, with the big frame and strong bone we are seeing in this cross. At 8 months Glow has 4" of staple length. She looks like a cotton ball with legs. We have made the Crystal/ Tahona cross a foundation of our herd. She has already sold.
Crystal is again bred to Tahona for a 2017 cria.
2017: Crystal and Tahona gave us another girl! She was 21 lbs at birth and is, again, a silky. Trinket is a lt fawn with the most stunning fiber we have seen yet.. She is loaded with fiber and at 6 weeks is 10 lbs heavier than the other crias. Im keeping this one
Crystal sells with a breeding to any of our awesome herd sires. I highly encourage a breeding to Mile High Tahona
