Platinum Marquis has proven himself nationally in the show ring. Shown, as a juvenile, at the three largest North American alpaca shows (AOBA,AAA Futurity and MAPACA) in 2004, Platinum Marquis won Champion and Reserve Grey Color Champion in these three shows.His luster and his lock are so remarkable that many breeders ask if he is an accoyo. He is a full Peruvian with accoyo blood from his dam's (Silverbelle) side (Bruxo, Uribe and Helios). Silverbelle was the Reserve Grey Color Champion at both AOBA and AAA Futurity in 2002 as well as the highest selling suri alpaca at the 2002 AOBA National Auction. Platinum Marquis' sire, Silver Marquis,is a deep gunmetal silver grey, a product of two silver grey parents, Silver King and Silver Gem. Platinum Marquis, a third generation silver grey suri,sired his first crop of crias born in 2006.All of them were colored suris with excellent lock and luster and out of 14 born, 10 were grey. Since then, Platinum Marquis has produced many more champion winning cria.Some of his well known champion cria  are, GLR Marakesh , GLR Orion, GLR Kiva , GLR Picassa , GLR Chasca, GLR Silvario and Silvano of PVA.

Knight is one of the last Rockstar crias to be born. With that said, he has got a lot of the genetics that we all seek and love about Rockstar! Best part about this boy is he is a full accoyo fawn. We are extremly proud to add this boy to our lineup and add his fantastic fiber traits to our herd. Biopsy by Dr. Norm Evans... "Rogue Suri Alpacas GVA Accoyo Satin's Knight" was biopsied as a 35 month old light fawn suri male with ARI#32735536. He grades 4 of 4 glands which are viewed as the gray areas around his follicles. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters very uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. Observe the 5 fiber clusters on the S/P scan that show an S/P ratio of 12.2 to 1. Twenty five clusters showed an average S/P of 11.9 to 1. I have outlined two triad fiber clusters which are usually only seen with alpacas with increased density. His density measures61.5 follicles SQ MM of skin. 100 secondary fibers average 22.7 microns while 50 primary fibers average 30.3 microns for a variation of 7.6 microns. Also note on all scans that 100% of his secondary fibers show medullation. Satin's Knight is well above average in gland presence, density, S/P and the small variation in primary and secondary fiber size for suri males
