Bono is a wonderfully conformed male with VERY nice fiber. His prior owner has not attended shows with her animals. His fiber was entered in one show and scored higher than championship fiber at the halter shows. In fact it is almost identical fiber to our girl Capri who has an outstanding halter show record. This guy has a slew of grand genetics behind him: Vengador, Godfather,Amadeus, Timoteo. His dam is a color champion and has retained her outstanding fiber even after several pregnancies. Full Accoyo out of the now deceased legendary fawn Accoyo Leon. Snowcap makes amazing cria. She comes with another breeding which includes Impeccable our fawn and darker color maker of Impeccable cria! Check out her daughter Shotsie's 2013 cria from Impeccable-a medium to dark fawn named Filson. Snowcap has produced fawn and a 4 to 1 ratio of girls to boys. Her 1st cria is a stunning medium fawn female. Her dam and 1/2 sister, both white of all white pedigree, threw a BB and a MF w/gray points. Capper, as we call her, is large framed with heavy bone. Great bite and straight conformationally. Fleece-wise she and her ancestors are pretty amazing. At 16yrs of age, her dam Mona still has nice crimp and even though her staple length is shorter her density allowed for a 3 lb blanket. Capper's long staple and high density brought in a 5.5 lb blanket! . The crimp has very high amplitude and great frequency and she continues to have high luster. That greasy feel you hear talked about-she's got that 10 fold! Capper has been a spectacular mom and milk producer. She pops out her babies with ease and super quick. So much so her male cria was named Mr. Goodspeed! Ravendance Bono is a full accoyo that is extremely handsome with wonderful fleece. He did not show as his prior owner did not show animals. He would have done wonderfully. He was proven later than he should have been by being paired with Snowcap last year who, as it turned out had her hormones out of whack from being left open 1 yr. Same thing was going on this summer so after some shots, she is pregnant by Bono. I'm actually looking forward to the more likely white alpaca from this mating as the fiber should be unstoppable and I'm into dyeing fiber anyway! Speaking of, the white mixed yarn that is made from this accoyo line is very shiny which even shows up in the dyed colors. Snowcap had a super fine white boy with Bono.
