Onyx was a great find and match to our wonderful herdsire Carderock. Onyx has produced 2 carbon copy MSG cria when bred to gray, so we expect no less whith all the Black and Silver in her background. From the growth of her last cria who at 1 year had topped out over 110#, we expect she will be a fantastic mother and asset to our breeding program. Her first cria for us is a TB male out of Carderock. At a month old, he's almost caught up to the weight of the 2 1/2 month olds. We expect that he will be a great young man. She is certainly a no hassle mom. 10/18 Updated: Onyx gave us a beautiful and fiesty girl in September. Looking forward to seeing this one grow!

I saw TK at MAPACA in 2019 right before he won the Reserve Championship at the Jubilee. After losing one of my Herdsires in a dog attack just weeks before, TK seemed to be the perfect replacement. After he won - well, it was a no brainer! His sire FTAF's Blackbeard was chosen as the 2019 Futurity Herdsire for the Small Farm Division. He's produced so many champions. What I loved about TK was uniformity of color in his fleece - he's virtually spotless. His staple length was long with nice character. I got him home and was hoping that he'd be ready to breed by the fall and he was. We have several girls bred to him for fall Cria and a few more were bred this spring as well. If you are looking for gray at a reasonable price, give TK a try. He has 5 on the ground - 3 rose gray and 2 black.

Description

Lakota was a great find when I was looking for potential matches for our outstanding 2x National Fleece Champion Carderock. Lakota's mother is a TB and at just about a year, Lakota was already tipping the scale at about 110#. Gray over Black - she has such interesting coloration. I just love the frosting she has and the dark belly. 6/17 - Lakota delivered a gorgeous rose gray girl for us! She's full of milk and a great mom! Just love this little one! 10/18 - Lakota has been exposed to our TB herdsire Warrior. He's producing some really nice babies. We think this will be a great match. 10/19 - This breeding produced another stunning silver gray girl. 2021 - Lakota bred to our silver gray herdsire TK produced an adorable black cria
