This handsome true black male has great substance of bone supporting a sturdy eye pleasing frame. His well organized locks shimmer with luster. Best of all, he has a sweet mellow personality and an intelligent mind. Rio is one of those true blacks that has a blue cast to his fleece. He has a high luster fleece that is well locked and has nice fineness, density, and a good handle. Rio has grown into a good sized male with a solid, well balanced frame. GLR Takoda is the daughter of Great Lakes Ranch multiple champion winning, and Judges Choice mother GLR Tica. Takoda sire is a 5 time Color Champions Young Felipe. She has no MacGyver blood and the fiber characteristics that both her sire and her dam pass on to their offspring as well as the colored genetics from her grandsire Shavano. We're very excited to add GLR Takoda to our foundation herd. At Takoda's first show, the 2014 AOA Nationals, she placed 1st in her class. "Takoda has great presence, consistent luster and is very well grown for her age according to Jude Anderson, 2014 AOA Nationals Judge". Unfortunately, there was no Color Championship in the multis that year.
