We are proud to own and open up this incredible herdsire for a limited number of breedings. Quixotic’s dam, Starry Night’s Quetzal, was purchased at the prestigious 2008 All American Alpaca Futurity. To say that this dam is impressive is an understatement. She was a gorgeous dark silver grey female with incredible fleece character and rare density. Quixotic’s dam was bred to Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah the first year and the result was the famous multiple champion A & A and MFI Quatrain purchased by Coffee Pot, Whistler’s Glen, Applewood Farm and Tangled Oaks at the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction. The second year she was bred Jeremiah’s paternal brother MFI Peruvian Formula 1, co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas and the result was A and A & MFI Quixotic!! Quixotic is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. Quixotic's crias hit the ground for us starting in 2015 and we have been thrilled at what he is adding to our program here! Several of his offspring have been out and about in the showring and have earned top awards at several highly competitive shows, earning both champions and Judges’ Choice awards. Cloverleaf Alpacas Man of Steel is just one example of the quality we are seeing in Quixotic’s offspring and he is a true standout in the greys, earning top awards at every show he is in! Quixotic's crias have continued to wow and impress even the most discriminating buyers and breeders...and judges! His crias are outstandings!

Due to her birthday and the fact that we wanted to get her breeding career going, Electra was only shown briefly in her yearling campaign. I will never forget MAPACA when Electra came in as Reserve Champion to an A. L. Paca's girl.. Denise came and looked at Electra and screamed out "DOUG!! you gotta come look at this , we have to have this!!" Needless to say, we refused to sell and Electra went on to dominate with her offspring for years to come. We are very proud of this girl, and she has served us well. This girl is special and will be a home run producer for years to come! 2020 TVA Tres Equis cria now on the ground and lookin' good.... more to come on this one! After seeing the result of this year's Tres Equis breeding, KCF Thunderstruck, we bred Electra back to Tres ASAP for a repeat performance in 2021. Thunderstruck is stunning and we will create as many of these as possible!! 2021 cria is a girl named Ethereal. This little one is already exhibiting a beautifully bright and structured fleece. Although light fawn, this does not disappoint. We bet this bundle will be able to pass every color under the alpaca spectrum. Ethereal's own page is now published and we highly encourage gray breedings to take a look.... 2022 - We anxiously anticipate the result of Electra's cria in 2022, the first from what we believe will become a real force here at KCF - KCF Denali. STF Skywalker comes to us in partnership by way of our dear friends at Sugartown Farms in Ellicottville, NY. Thank you Timm and Helen for letting us in on the wonderful male. This boy is producing exactly what we had hoped for, and in a wonderful variety of colors, including gray!! STF SKYWALKER is a phenomenal male from a 10X COLOR CHAMPION Snowmass XXXtreme Daughter - STF Sassafras. SKYWALKER'S DAM - STF Sassafras represents all that is Elite in the Color Alpaca World. Her Sire - Snowmass XXXtreme is one of the most PREPOTENT colored studs to grace the Alpaca breeding world. XXXtreme's progeny are nothing short of spectacular. Sassafras has won 10 CHAMPIONSHIP Banners. Sassafras won the COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Northeastern 2011. Judge Jude Anderson said: "I have a Juvenile female here in this championship position I would recommend you take a look at. Her fleece is very bright when you open it up, with excellent density and, uniformity in to the belly - not just of the style, but of the fineness across the blanket. She is a lovely package – excellent density.” Sassafras then won the Reserve CHAMPIONSHIP at PAOBA. Judge Ken Hibbits said: "She is really, really impressive - a fleece that opens up and pops when you break it open. She has great uniformity and great character, she is very correct. One thing you notice when you open it up it tends to break beautifully within all those staples, showing that fineness, showing that architecture, and that’s what we want. She’s not bad to look at either is she? She is a beautiful girl, perfectly conformed." Sassafras won Reserve CHAMPIONSHIP at Empire. Judge Jill MacLeod said: “What I really like about this girl is that she is very fine, very even, she has great uniformity in all respects – and that did her very well today. Even her primary fibers are very very fine throughout that fleece and I think this is the kind of fleece that will maintain fineness throughout a lifetime.” In awarding her the Championship at MAPACA, Judge Helen Humphries cited Sassafrass as the complete package, noting of her fineness, consistency and buttery soft - dreamy fleece.
