Ranger is the son of CCNF Cameron, the multiple champion true black herdsire that has one of the top three black fleeces that we have ever seen in our years in the business. We rarely buy breedings to unproven males, but we were in line when he opened up. Crossed with our best black female, Black Opal, we got exactly the fleece we were looking for. There is nothing lacking; fine, bright, dense, and structured. We also got a few things we didn't entirely expect, like the white accents, but hey, if he is puting his fleece on girls, we can work with that! Of his first eight cria, seven are solid dark brown or black, and one is a beautiful patterned gray out of a gray dam.

KCF Princess Savona

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 30602915DOB: 7/22/200816 yrs
Princess Savona has been a wonderful foundation dam here at Kendall Creek Farms. She has it all - the soft, fine, consistent fleece at a ripe middle age, the bone and confirmation to be a great long term producer, the mothering instincts and milk that are paramount for a production female, and the disposition that makes her a pleasure to work with all along the way. Her bloodlines are amazing as well. Augusto, Leon, Bueno, Don Julio, Donovan and our own Mega-girl, KCF Peruvian Savvy. Savvy, Savona's dam, is the 3/4 sister of our Captain Jack Sparrow that has produced champions in every color classification. Savona has allowed color to pass when bred dark, but white is her forte, and always with outstanding quality. Her last cria was a white female out of LMFI Jeremiah's Indescribable, and she is rockin'! KCF Sparkler is a ribbon winner on her first outing, the MAPACA Jubilee in a class of 11 white females!!

Description

This dark brown beauty comes from a powerful pedigree and we expect her to make it proud with her first cria. Her sire, KCF The Lone Ranger is a multi-champion in the fleece ring, and deservedly so. His fleece is bright and dense with no stray white fibers, even though he has unique white markings on his face and legs. He has always thrown solid brown or black offspring unless bred to gray. In this case, solid brown with black tips and hi-lites. Sable's dam, KCF Princess Savona, although white, is from fawn on both sides , and we were right that she would produce color easily. Sable is ready to breed and we are giving you two options, LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight or KCF Isidoro. Midnight is throwing absolute rock stars so far on our farm, and in keeping with his many other champion offspring. He has champions in just about every color classification and has proven himself as very prepotent. KCF Isidoro is one of our up-and-comers. As a 9 time Champion, we feel that he has exactly what it takes to improve upon every female. His 19.5 of 20 score for fineness and handle at the same time as a 20 of 20 score for weight on the score card at the 2015 Empire Extravaganza, may be a first for the industry. If you know of another herdsire that has achieved these accolades, please let me know. I want to buy a breeding to him immediately! Isidoro's first cria is on the ground and is darker than either sire or dam; here we go!! KCF Sable is going to be a powerful color production female for some farm; will it be yours?
