He has 8 females and 8 males on the ground ranging from true black to Dark Rose grey. Three of his offspring did extremely well in the 2006 show ring, winning top awards & Reserve Color Championships, what a terrific record! Gandalf is the sire of our 2 time Color Champion, 5 First place winning rose grey herdsire Aragorn. He would be a fantastic addition to a winning herdsire lineup!
Gandalf’s sire was Achilles who also had a stellar show career and now lives in Colorado. His Grandsire Acero Marka’s Champ, was a True Black Bolivian import who sired many Top winning offspring around the country. Champ was purchased in Bolivia for $70,000 which was an astronomical amount for his Bolivian owners. Champ was the Bolivian Grand Champion. Rosebud is Gandalf’s Dam and we owned her for several years. She had a torn anterior cruciate ligament which prevented her from the show ring, but her fleece won two blue ribbons at AOBA! <--description-->

Description
Absolutely remarkable rose grey male with wonderful genetics! Super dense, fine, crimpy and all his offspring are following in his footsteps! Aragorn moved from the East Coast to the West Coast in 2015 and has 7 new cria ( 3 boys and 4 girls) in 2016. He is now settling females for 2017 with ease!
His cria are strong, healthy and demonstrate straight legs, good bites, and dense, crimpy fiber. His rose grey male cria, Acer, born 5/24/16 is the densest of all of them and shows excellent promise to have a show career ahead of him! We are glad that this one is a boy!!
On the east coast in his show career, Aragorn received: 2 Color Championships, A Reserve Color Champion & 7 First Place Ribbons! 1st Place at AOBA and Reserve Color Champion as the youngest in his class at the Virginia Classic in 2006. The show season in 2007 placed him as 1st and Color Champion in fleece at the CABO show, 1st and Color Champion at the Virginia Classic and 1st at MAPACA. He is a remarkable male!
