BREAKING NEWS!! Kiernan just brought home his THIRD Get of Sire Blue Ribbon at the 2013 California Classic. His third Get of Sire in as many shows and his second two years running at the CA Classic. Kiernan offspring brought home the Produce of Dam and the Breeders Best Three at the same show. Oh... Then there was OVA Peruvian Crisdean the Explorer, a Kiernan son who won his Class, Color Group and the coveted Best of Color Groups banners. Just Awesome!! Kiernan has proven to be everything that we had hoped for in a breeding male. With over nearly thirty registered cria on the ground his reputation has grown with each Championship, Reserve and Blue Ribbon won by his offspring. In the recent 2012 California Classic Kiernan won the coveted Get of Sire Class and five of the seven Kiernan offspring at the show won blue ribbons along with a Championship and a Reserve Championship. Later in 2012 Kiernan again won the Get of Sire class at the Gold Country Gathering and again his cria cleaned up winning multiple blue ribbons and both the Color Championship and Reserve in the brown male class. His offspring are all marked with excellent coverage and fleece character, extreme crimp and brightness along with the typical drop dead gorgeous head. They say that the proof is in the progeny and in this regard Kiernan is producing one outstanding cria after another. Kiernan’s dam, Snowmass Legacyna is out of the legendary 4Peruvian Legacy and his sire, FDA St. Andrews a multiple color champion himself, carries Peruvian Santino and PPPeruvian Dracula genetics. Looking for Accoyo genetics? Kiernan offers some of the best. . His fiber statistics show him to have the best crimp in our herd. Kiernan has just a picture perfect head with black ears and muzzle. Fleece coverage and character, density and staple length are just phenomenal along with strong bone and good conformation. In the show ring, Kiernan has impressed the judges in winning three championships, a blue ribbon at AOBA Nationals, eleven overall blue ribbons and a slug of other awards. Do your breeding program a favor and book a package of breedings to Kiernan. Another interesting fact - Kiernan has never thrown a white cria even when bred to white. We would be happy to discuss multiple breeding discounts.

If you are at all interested in lingering fineness take a look at these results from 2015 when Mocha was 6 years old....AFD: 21.2 SD 4.9 CV 23.1 %>30u 3.4 CF 96.6 Her 2017 EPD results are an objective evaluation of what her genetics will bring to your breeding program...top 5% in three categories ( AFD, SF, %F>30), top 10% in MC, top 15% in SDAFD, top 25% in FW. Latte's Mocha Twist is a lovely girl. Her compact frame is covered with the buttery soft high frequency, high amplitude fleece. She is perfectly proportioned and balanced. She consistently shears 10% of her body weight. At just over 5 years old Mocha delivered her first cria and apparently inherited the same excellent maternal traits as her dam Bella Rosa. The birth process was text book and she had plenty of milk. She is an attentive but not stressed mom. Her female cria is exhibiting the same compact frame and fiber coverage. Mocha's light brown female, Mocha's Afternoon Delight, was awarded a color championship at 7 months old and a Reserve Color Championship. Continuing on the genetic lingering fineness traits in this line "Delight's" first histogram at one year old was: AFD: 16.4 SD 3.5 CV 21.2 %>30u .2 CF 99.8 In March, 2015 Mocha delivered her second cria. This male "Ricochet" answered our expectation of a great result with the pairing of our "Star of Lingering Fineness" with the amazing 3x Get of Sire winner OVA Kiernan of St Andrews. We aren't disappointed. His fiber is everything we hoped for: uniform architecture, great handle, excellent coverage, fineness, and density with great staple length. He sports a well-proportioned and solid compact frame.

Description

We expected a great result with the pairing of our "Star of Lingering Fineness" with the amazing 3x Get of Sire winner OVA Kiernan of St Andrews. We aren't disappointed. His fiber is everything we hoped for: uniform architecture, great handle, excellent coverage, fineness, and density with great staple length. He sports a well-proportioned and solid compact frame. He was shown as a juvenile and received a blue ribbon in a class of one. We are looking forward to seeing how he stands up to the competition when shown as a yearling at the California Classic in April, 2016. He is being shown in the Walking Fleece and Halter classes. Along with his half-sister "Mocha's Afternoon Delight" he will be representing his dam in the Produce of Dam class.
