Maxwell is turning out to be a very nice herdsire. He has a beautiful blanket of medium silver gray that fades to light silver gray down the legs to white stockings. He exhibits luxurious fiber characteristics with bundles of very soft, crimpy, and LONG fleece. His histogram came back with an amazing 22.8 AFD, quite low for a silver gray! He settled his first female with a successful breeding at only 15 months, and settled quite a few other females these past few years! His cria exhibit those same amazing fiber characteristics. Max is a big boy with a beautiful look. Aloha is a beautiful correct female. Her fiber is a beautiful silver that looks as though she's covered in frost. She exhibits a strong consistent crimp that is hard to find in silvers. Aloha's conformation is "right on" with a nice level top line, straight legs, medium size build, great bite and a nice overall eye appeal. Both her dam and sire are silvers. Her sire is a nice award winning male with Peruvian Bueno and King bloodlines. Aloha delivered a handsome True Black male cria, Crane Creek's Revolution, in September 2011. ANY BREEDINGS BOOKED WOULD NEED TO TAKE PLACE AT THEIR RANCH IN MOBERLY UNTIL JUNE 1ST, 2016. This guy has great potential as an up and coming herdsire. Already he has thick, fine fleece with great handle and brightness! Caleb has nice conformation and a good bite. At a year old his micron was 16.8! We'll see how that great fleece micron and character holds. Caleb recently settled his first two females for Fall 2015 crias.
