Full Peruvian future Rock God here!
CASA'S ROYAL PERUVIAN MICK JAGGER
Alpaca, Huacaya, Jr. Herdsire (Male) | Light Fawn
AOA #32492767 | DOB: 7/26/2013 (11 yrs)
Sire: AOV Accoyo Royal Voyager
Accoyo Royal Voyager is three years old is well socialized, comes to his name, eats out of your hand and does very well with nail trimming, shots and weigh ins. He has never shown any inclination to spit or kick at a human. He is a powerful young boy and weighs in at 180.4 pounds as of the first of February, 2013.
Royal Voyager has full Peruvian heritage and is a descendant of the Estancia Accoyo farm in Macusani, Peru. He is the grandson of the legendary Royal Fawn and his father is none other than Royal Avenger. He is packing some serious genetics!
Voyager has been sheared for 2013 and he lost 17 pounds of fiber weight! His blanket was 7 pounds, neck was 2.4 and the remainder was 3rds. I will update when we get his next histogram completed. I uploaded a picture that shows a nice solid 4" staple length.
This boy is very dense and his fiber actually holds up items for us when we are doing herd health on him :-) We are expecting above average weights on his fleece and believe he is in line for a 5 - 7 pound blanket. I am actually going to weigh him prior to shearing so I can get an exact number on the amount of pounds he is carrying in beautiful white fiber.
We have performed vision and hearing tests on Royal Voyager and he passed perfectly. His bite is perfect and we don't believe he will ever need his teeth trimmed. His bone structure is dead on and his posture is very good. He looks and feels like a champion!
Voyager has currently settled two females and his prodigy will hit this ground in August, 2013.
Royal Voyager is available for breeding at any time of the year only subject to your breeding schedule. His fee is $750.00 and that includes 30 day board for your female. Voyager is also available for "drive bys" at a reduced rate of $500 and that includes a free "follow up". We can also transport Voyager to your farm and that fee is subject to the distance and time needed to travel. Voyager is not available for "sleepovers" at other farms.<--description-->
Dam: Pacer's Sweet Charlotte
Update! - Charlotte is no longer a maiden! She had a beautiful boy at the end of July and has loads of milk and has taken to motherhood like she has been doing it all her life. She is "As good as it gets"!
Update - Charlottes fiber stats are in! She has a micron count of 25.6 which is amazing for a true black girl! Her fiber is very slick and feels almost like silk when it is processed. She is not a "silky" but I have no doubt that she could produce one with the right stud.
Update - We were going to hold Charlotte open but she had other ideas. She is now bred to our full Peruvian Jesse James who throws silver tuxedos. Lets see if she can pull it off!
Note - Charlotte and Dee Dee's descriptions are very similar because they are like twins :-)
Charlotte is a bay black full Peruvian female (She really should have been marked as a true black on her registration) who is very attached to her sister (Dee Dee is her full sister). The original breeder did such a great job with one breeding that they went for it twice :-) She is a Midnight Express granddaughter and a Gold Rush great granddaughter. Both Charlotte and her sister are reserved but eager to please and are really well behaved on herd health day. One thing striking about Charlotte and her sister is that when you put them on a lead to go for a walk they feel the need to prance. It is actually quite beautiful to watch!
Charlotte is currently 171 pounds carries herself quite well. Her and her sister have the straightest spines I have ever seen on alpacas. They are almost regal in their presentation and we really hope that attribute carries over to their crias.
We have performed vision and hearing tests on Charlotte and she passed perfectly.
We sheared on 4/27/2014 and Charlottes fiber came in at 2.4 pounds for the blanket and .4 for the neck. Her fiber is very fine and soft. Some of our customers love it because it almost feels like silk and the other customers want it spun with 1<--description-->
Description
Introducing Casa's Royal Peruvian Mick Jagger aka MJ! This little boy is an excellent way to get in on the ground floor of great genetics. Bundles of dense fiber with a high frequency crimp. At four months his fiber was 4 inches in length. It did not take long for his beautiful fleece to start becoming tight bundles that are almost rope like. If you run your hand down the side of his blanket it almost feels like it is knotted but it is the bundles of fiber.
His father is AOV Accoyo Royal Voyager who is an amazing creamy white full Peruvian Accoyo with a small dark fawn spot that he passed on to his son. Voyager has the typey Accoyo head, an excellent bite, straight legs and spine and very intelligent.
His mother is Midnight Pacer's Miss Dee Dee. She is an amazing true black Peruvian beauty. She also possesses all the fine qualities that Royal Voyager does.
