Another beauty from Champagne Toast and Capital Punishment. This female's micron report proved that we were right about her fineness. Her 15.7 AFD with 0.4> 30 (2011) makes hers one of the finest colored fleeces on our farm. This is not a total surprise since her sire seems to pass that on to his crias and the dam is no slouch in the fineness department either. Cadia's yearling (2012 --16.5 AFD with 0.4>30) fiber stats haven't changed much at all. Cadia's first cria is a beautiful brown female with the fineness and density of her mother and she has been sold. Cierra (Cadia's 2016 cria sired by Captain Midnight) hit the ground running on June 4th. With beautiful bone and a promising fleece that possesses great density we are loving this little girl. For her 2017 cria we have opted to use Contender, another black banner winner. This cria is due in September and we are quite excited about this combination.
