R.I.P. Losing Megabuck was like losing a best friend. He had the energy and spirit of 10 alpacas yet always behaved like a gentleman for me. His lines will continue on our farm through his descendants. When Megabuck was used for breeding or behavior checks, his orgling would cause ALL the females in the pasture, irregardless of pregnancy status, to run up and gather around. They knew he was special too! As the oldest male he was alpha, but 95% of his life he was kept in the male herd. All have outstanding luster and silkiness, above average density, fineness, aligned crimp, long staple, very heavy bone and correct conformation and phenotype. Royal is a lovely black female with correct conformation and a soft, bright, crimpy fleece. She has been bred twice and produced two nice, healthy crias, one black (Spirit, 2015) and one gray (Silver Shadow, 2016...royal fine fleece). She has an Alianza - Accoyo pedigree including Accoyo Royal Fawn and Peruvian Andrajo (Alianza). Royal's dam, Trufflina, was a blue ribbon fleece winner who beat Pacific Crest's P. Microsoft with Judge Julie Skinner at PNAA 2000. Trufflina also produced 13 crias with outstanding weight gain (up to 1 pound per day for the first 9 days) and high IgGs (3000s+) and...this line (P.. Andrajo) has contributer greatly to the success of many blue ribbon winners and champions. Royal's black sire is from the Accoyo Royal Fawn lineage and the Stachowski breeding program. Royal was born at 18+ lbs and was running circles in the barn stall at one hour old! She is very dark black with a very soft, crimpy, nicely dense fleece. She has beautiful structure and a lovely, typey head. Her maternal brother, our champion Constantino, beat award-winning sons of two record high-selling studs (Legacy and Royal Fawn) and won blue ribbons for 5 years for FF halter and fleece and has many award winning descendants.
