HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn
AOA# 32620481DOB: 8/30/201212 yrs
Goldrush is a compact, sturdy male with excellent conformation, a fully fibered head, to die for fleece, and a great temperament to boot. He is the product of a lovely Peruvian Zephyrus daughter and Sunset Hills Andean Gold, winner of the fiber industry award for fleece! He looks just like Dad, and anyone who knows Andean Gold knows that he won one of his multiple championships and Judge's Choice at nine years of age! Goldrush takes the best of both these iconic lines and blends them into one phenomenal package. Fresh off an impressive performance at the Showtacular, Goldrush was praised for his brightness, organization, consistency and density. He is outstanding, and we have started breeding him on what is sure to be an outstanding breeding career. We offer half interest. Goldrush's first cria has arrived! A handsome BROWN male out of a white dam! Who would have thunk it?? Guess the color is certainly coming through. His 2nd cria, also from a white dam, looks to be either medium or dark fawn with Dad's vicuna pattern. Goldrush added a beige female from LF dam Rockette. 3 great looking crias. You're welcome to come visit them and will be seeing them in the ring next Spring! For 2017 crias we've taken Goldrush to darker dams, dark fawn and black. UPDATE: Goldrush's boy Lunar has been tearing up the Spring '17 show season. He just returned from MAPACA with a 1st place in the Small Breeder's Show in a class of 8. He followed that up with a flip-flop with his 2nd place competitor in the Jubilee in a class of 11. His brother Copper will join him this fall once we sort out his rose grey situation on his 2nd fleece.

Rockette of Rainbow's End

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 32214888DOB: 10/8/201113 yrs
Young, proven mother with infinite color possibilities! Beautiful, consistent, buttery soft fleece. She is med-large, usually in the 160 lb. range, with very solid, square proportions. "Rocky" is a grand-daughter of Mr. Antonio and daughter of multi blue ribbon appaloosa Valentino. Rocky's dam is Chilean with mostly black and grey heritage including The Silversmith and NWA, LTD Black Satin. Her first cria is a very nice white girl out of full Alianza herdsire NWA LTD Hektor, who sadly passed recently. Rocky gave birth to a 2nd female, beige this time, out of our Goldrush. Another big, healthy cria and another textbook delivery! With appaloosa, black and grey in her pedigree, Rocky should be able to throw just about everything. We're definitely thinking of something out of the box for her this Fall. Rocky has proven to be a natural at motherhood. She stood well for her cria from day 1 and is attentive. Plenty of milk too! For 2017 cria, she has been bred to Sunburst Peruvian Cavalier, a blue ribbon-winning, full-Peruvian, rose grey male.

Description

Beige female cria born from 2 fawn parents. Of all Goldrush's crias, we thought for sure this one would have color, but hey, that's part of the fun. Though beige, maybe even white herself, Goldie comes from a loaded color pedigree including fawn, brown, black, grey and even appaloosa! Who knows what this girl will throw?! Goldie herself is a well-built young lady. She's developing nicely, with her father's trademark head, something he passes regularly and that's certainly a good thing! She has a very soft handle, moderate crimp style, and good density. Her Mom is gentle, with an easy disposition and this little girl has a similar personality. A perfect addition to any breeding program as she's literally got all of the color groups in her. Reserve her now and she should be ready for weaning in January. We will include a transferable breeding for you to use otherwise now, or for her later.
