On August 19th, 2017 Bella gave birth to a Rose Gray baby girl! Tall Grass Bella has a beautifully balanced frame with spot-on conformation. Her fleece exhibits excellent crimp and density with a wonderfully soft handle. Bella's sire is none other than Snowmass XXXtreme. He is a 2X Futurity SIre of the Year and one of the most prepotent colored studs to grace the Alpaca breeding world. XXXtreme's progeny are nothing short of spectacular as exemplified in their unbelievable 38 Championships and 120 top 3 placements in just three years! Bella's dam is Beethoven's Erika Elizabeth. After seeing Erika at the 2011 Northeast Alpaca Expo in NY we started to think that she would be a great way to start adding color to our predominately "white" herd. When we received her fiber sample, that sealed the deal! Award winning Erika Elizabeth is now part of the Tall Grass Farm herd and we couldn't be happier. With black and gray in both her dam and sires backgrounds, there are many options to breed for color. So, Kendall Creek's KCF Grayconic has been chosen as Bella's Service Sire. He has huge staple length, extremely fine and bright with volumes of density on a sturdy frame and broad heritage. We are really looking forward to this 2017 cria!
