Samaurai's Sparkle

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 32190403DOB: 7/4/201014 yrs
This is the second girl in our herd that was born on the 4th of July - She must have added quite a bit of sparkle on that day - so I can appreciate her name. Only I'm told the running joke is the only thing that sparkles on her is her personality because she likes the dirt so much. We were very excited to add this girl to our foundation. She has some awesome genetics coming from successful alpaca breeders. Look at the list of owners on her sire Samaurai. Especially noteworthy with all of the colors in her background of fawn, brown and black. She has produced varying colors. She had a truly beautiful dark fawn girl from LondonDairy Ra. That breeding was repeated and she gave us a gorgeous, sturdy beige boy that was so friendly we used him as a PR alpaca until he sold. We then decided to breed her to our dense, really fine guy, TWT Denali. They gave us a boy that looked fine and dense, lots of crimp but unfortunately never showed and now resides in Idaho. Last season we decided to give our young award-winning guy, Romeo the date. Certainly happy with that result. She delivered a beautiful baby! They are both unbelievably friendly and with his density and color in his pedigree of fawn, black and grey we suspect this could be a beautiful producer come breeding age! Sparkle has one of those sweet faces and demeanor, loves all kinds of treats and her crias all seem to be exceptionally friendly too. Because of her peaceful temperament we are able to use her for PR.

Description

His dam's name is Sparkle since she was born on the 4th of July and I was told the running joke was the only thing that Sparkles on her is her personality because she loves the dirt. The name Sparky just came to me since he looks like a spark off the old block. The two of them were immediately standouts in the pasture. Spark of splendor, obviously from his newborn photo just has the cute factor. (even dirty LOL) It isn't just that we think he is cute, he has been featured multiple times on Mazuri feed site. He loves those Mazuri alpaca pellets! Both of his parents have exceptionally cute faces with a friendly demeanor. Cute isn't all they offer. Both have noteable pedigrees and nice fleece characteristics. We entered Sparky in a fleece show and the judge remarked that Sparky has very nice fine, uniform fleece with good brightness. He was not dense enough for breeding & his prior owner gelded him. This should keep his fleece & disposition nice - He is also a nice color for those wanting a fiber herd, as you can blend or dye it with nearly any color. Yet on the other hand, he also would make a backyard pet because he is sweet. Contact us if you are interested in meeting him!
