Bold Ruler represents the coupling of two of the most prepotent Suri lines in the country. His sire is SBS Crown Prince (Accoyo Crown Royale son), who has won multiple banners and claimed 15 get-of-sire blue ribbons. Bold Ruler's maternal grandsire is the legendary HHSF Accoyo Lafite's Mont Blanc, a 3x Judge's Choice winner, also with multiple banners and get-of-sire wins. Mont Blanc lands in the top 1% of EPD's for multiple traits year after year. Crown Prince offspring are known for having amazing luster, and Bold Ruler is no exception. He claimed the Reserve Champion banner in his first show, and the judge noted an "exorbitant amount of luster". Add to that a cool, slick handle, excellent fineness and uniformity, and a well-organized lock with density. Bold Ruler stands straight and correct, with a calm, confident personality. His first shearing produced an impressive amount of fleece at 10 months of age, tipping the scale at just under 6 pounds of grade 1 fleece, with locks longer than 6 inches. Bold Ruler has excellent EPD stats as well, ranking in the top 5% for SD, and top 6% for staple length and fleece weight. His 2018 biopsy is outstanding and falls right in line with his EPD stats. With a density of 68.9 follicles per sq mm, he currently ranks as the second highest Suri male tested by Alpaca Consulting USA. He also ranks as the 2nd most uniform Suri they have tested (surpassed by our own Big Bad John)! The primary fibers AFD was 21.6 microns, with SD of 2.3. Secondary fibers AFD was 17.7 microns, with a SD of 2.0. This equates to a difference of 3.9 microns, which is well above average. From the biopsy report, the micron range of all primary fibers evaluated fall inside of the micron range of all secondary fibers evaluated...a HIGHLY DESIRED trait.
