TAG Peruvian Bellagio is one our great young Studs! He is a mix of two of the best fawn genetic lines in the country! His sire is Marathon, an EIGHT TIME HALTER CHAMPION. FULL ACCOYO MEDIUM FAWN! Marathon is one of a kind - this full Accoyo medium fawn male has "a next generation elite fleece," perfect head, bite and conformation. His fleece has a very high-amplitude crimp, is extremely bright, and well-bundled, with a long-staple length. Genetically, he is a fusion of Accoyo sires Caligula, Camilio and Auzengate (Australia). He has placed as Reserve or Color Champion in the first 8 out of 10 shows in his career, with 4 of the banners earned as a juvenile, all with blue ribbon wins.
Bellagio's Dam is Blaithin, a gorgeous light fawn Jericho daughter who's maintained incredible fineness through her fifth fleece. Blaithin also carries PPPeruvian Augusto and PPeruvian Leon in her pedigree!
Bellagio has done really well in the show ring taking two color championships, 1st place Bred and Owned 2yr old, part of a 1st place get of Sire, (4) 1st place finishes and (3) 2nd place finishes. Bellagio's one to keep your eye out for! We are only doing 10 outside breedings in 2012, hurry there only a few left! Liberty's Gilded Arrow has a silky style fleece, that just recently started turning light silver grey. His fleece is showing uniformity throughout, micro bundling and exhibiting organized styling. His phenotype is off the charts -- from his beautiful head style to his beautiful rare platinum color! This is one to watch in the show ring.
UPDATE: Shearing 2016 - Arrow has unbelievable brightness, density and cool to the touch fleece! This boy looks stunning after shearing!
GWAS 2016 -- Arrow takes a first in competitive class of 10, Level 5 show. Judge Helen Testa said "dreamy soft fleece"!
Alpacapalooza 2016 -- fellow breeders and the judges were IMPRESSED with this boy's fleece! Jill McLeod & Diana Timmerman kept raving about him being so special! His brightness is blinding, both thought he displays a "very high quality fleece". Lots and LOTS of attention and definitely one to watch.
Arrow's grandsire: Luciano is the culmination of 20 years of breeding toward outstanding fiber, unique color and strong, heavy bone. Luciano is one of the last offspring of gray in utero import, Peruvian Platinum. He is FULL ALIANZA!! He is a beautiful Rose Grey who now has over 100 offspring on the ground. Only 150 or so sires in the ARI database, out of over 4000, have over a 100 cria on the ground. This gives Luciano an incredible connectedness that will prove very valuable when we start collecting EPD data! His cria all exhibit the proud stance, lovely staple length, soft hand and wow what colors!. Luciano’s cria are winning in the show ring! 17 Color and Reserve Championship in his Progeny! And an incredibly impressive 39 First Place Ribbons!! Derwydd's Chilchu, a Luciano daughter sold at the 2006 Futurity for $100,000!!
