Dancing Moon's Allegra
SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1401455DOB: 1/30/200520 yrs
With Black on both sides of her pedigree and being a great granddaughter of the late PPeruvian Angel, Allegra as expected, has consistently produced (3)high quality, deeply colored cria: A True Black, Dark Brown and coppery light brown.
At her first show in 06, Amanda Vandenbosch gave Allegra a blue ribbon for her " beautiful luster, consistency and independence of lock.". She once again proved herself when she took another 1st Place at the Alpafest West 06 Fleece Show in California.
Allegra's first cria is Reserve Champion and 1st Place winner TB "Dark Knight", who is now standing stud at Dancing Moon Alpacas. Dark Knight took Reserve Champion for his, as the judge said, " blinding luster, dense, consistent locked fleece, perfectly proportioned conformation.".
Allegra herself was an eye catcher from the beginning with exotic eyes and a confident presence. She's inherited her mom's ease of birthing and attentive mothering abilities.
Ally gave birth in July 2009 to another stunning suri, coppery brown female " Margot" ( full sister to Dark Knight). In her first show at Southwest Regional in Phoenix, Margot took a 1st place with the judge oohing and aahhing over her fineness and "yummy" handle!
Allegra is now confirmed pregnant with 925 Sterling's amazing tuxedo grey herdsire " Vindication" for a Spring 2011 cria. We are expecting nothing short of Spectacular.
Update! Double Nickel has arrived - just take a look at him. Great coverage & staple length and check out that little bearded head. Appears that he may just be LRG, but will reserve this decision for a little later.
It's another boy for Allegra, though his face is so beautiful he really should have been a girl. Looks to be Bay Black, watch for updates on Blues Traveler in the future.
Update: Bred to black, Alllegra has produced 2 black cria - 1 male, 1 female. The sire of both is WLK Olympus. She sells with a 1/2 price breeding to the herdsire of your choice.
