Tulok is the offspring of a White dam, Francis, and a Dark Fawn Gunsmoke son, Radar. He has phenomenal fiber - great locks, luster and density. He has started his show career with a bang - 1st at the Southern Select under Jude Anderson, 1st at the very competitive Futurity under Amanda Vandenbosch, and 1st and Color Champ in the Buckeye show under Wade Gease. Tulok was awarded the Blue by Amanda in a class of nine and her comments included "solid bone, independent locks right to the skin, and good density" Update! Ravada's Tulok just took 1st Place in the 2008 Futurity Show , Silver Grey Yearling Males. Judge Mike Safley's comments were about his Luster, great independence of locks, & Density. Way to go Tulok! That is 2 Futurity Titles in a Row. Tulok has produced one Reserve Champion already and another is currently in my barn! Proven Gray producer. I hate to put him on my sales list, but have to reduce my herdsire numbers and have 2 Tulok offspring still to arrive.

Desteny is a Cortez daughter - the dark fawn son of Accoyo Uribe - who has many award winning offspring to his credit and she is the epitomy of luster in a suri alpaca. She has wonderful color genetics - her first cria is a true black male sired by Renzo, a black male from Alpaca Jack's Suri Farm. 2004 cria was a dark rose gray male by Porter, a dark rose gray Gunsmoke son. 2005 produced a white 5/8 accoyo female by Accoyo Diamond River and in 2006 a little maroon male, 'Triple Threat', sired by a maroon 1/2 accoyo, MacGyver son - Snowmass Wild Fire. It is obvious now Desteny is one of those fawn females we call "the cauldron of color". Desteny's crias are all big, healthy and strong. Solid weight gain and good IgGs. This is what every alpaca breeder hopes for. And anyone breeding for color can't go wrong with this girl. Update: Desteny's 2009 cria, sired by our Torbio son, Dash of Splash, is one of our best born this year. Take a look at Jasper of S.C.A.F. Turbo is out of Countess, a 3/4 Accoyo with Ramilo & Baron blood lines and sired by Quadrunner who is also a part Accoyo son of Durango who was purchased and no longer available in the US but Quadrunner is here at Club Suri. His Grand Dam, Paela, was from Alianza who is equally as well-known to the informed alpaca breeder but less publicized in the US than the Accoyo farm. Alianza's fiber is believed to be the best commercially available fiber in all of Peru.
