This girl was simply fantastic. At almost 16 years of age she was still in the top 5% of EPDs for AFD, Fiber greater than 30 micron, and % medullated fiber! Genetics lead the way, with Crown Royale as her sire. She WAS royalty herself.
Sprite is the beloved mother of daughters BBFAI Fanta, BBFAI Crystal, BBFAI Sierra Mist, and BBFAI Squirt, Zen's Zenji, and mother of BBFAI Devil's Cut. She is one of the best producers we have seen and we love every one of her offspring.
Sadly, Sprite died as a result of birthing complications in 2021. We are devastated to lose this spectacular female. On the very day of her passing, her grand daughter Bubble-Up gave birth to her first cria. While not a "soda pop name", he will be called "Nisse" - a mythical being with magical powers - in Sprite's memory.
