CONGRATULAIONS CHARLIE AND PATTY JENSEN OF DREAMCATCHER ALPACAS ON YOUR PURCHASE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL MALE The bread and butter of an alpaca farm is a strong white and light program to enhance a white OR a colored breeding program and in order to achieve that you need a light male so exceptional that he can improve on, and produce in his offspring, the finest fleece that a huacaya can possess... and insert those qualities in a white OR colored breeding program. You need that balance of fineness, density, and crimp that produces the best fleece qualities for todays extremely competitive market. Bandimere’s sire is Brilliance of Peru (owned by Golden Spirit Alpaca Ranch) a crimpy, bright and fine fleeced male whose fleece will make you go AWWWWW. Bandimere is a head turner whose achievements in the ring prove he is one of the greats in the industry. He has won 2 color and 3 reserve-championships and 7 blue ribbons. He is the sire of the strongest whites Mile High Alpacas produced for their show string including blue ribbon winners Mile High Lady Antebellum and Mile High Centurion. His light fawn male, Mile High Bandimere’s Murano, is leading their fawn crop in blue ribbons . He is also the sire of Mile High Bandimere’s Daytona, a dark brown male who now resides at Snowmass Alpacas. UPDATE.........Bandimere's son Super Massive won Blue and RESERVE champion at 2014 GWAS If you want a white male that has the scope to build on your white or colored program, Bandimere is it. Even for breeders that have the best of white females, Bandimere’s quality is all encompassing. This male is the total package and he is able to improve the offspring of any female of any color. Dam: Paula's Black Dahlia

Amazing Production Female

Paula's Black Dahlia

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 32413854DOB: 7/8/201212 yrs
In March of 2016 we added this beautiful true black, Silver Signature daughter to our herd to use with our black herdsires. At that time she was bred to a beautiful grey male and that breeding produced our multi-bannered 5C's Chicago. Once Chicago was born, we decided to breed her to our Contender who is black with plenty of grey in his background. That breeding produced a black female who now resides in Canada. See the rest of her offspring who are grey and black as well. Dahlia is a sweet true black female with fleece to match. She's got great conformation and carries a consistent, dense fleece on a that frame. She's a keeper who makes fantastic crias. Her offspring are black and grey and they all possess solid frames and beautiful dense fleeces. When we purchased Dahlia, we did so with the idea of breeding her to Contender and Captain Midnight. In 2020 everything fell into place to breed her to Captain Midnight. That breeding produced a stunning black female we have named Cirque du Soliel. Since we can't bring ourselves to sell any more of her beautiful offspring, we have decided to offer her for sale. Despite her age of 10, Dahlia is very healthy and has plenty more beautiful crias to offer the discerning breeder. Currently bred to Braxton for a beautiful cria in August of 2023. Service Sire: Mr Alejandro

Mr Alejandro

AOA# 32428247DOB: 9/22/201212 yrs
Mr Alejandro is truly something special. He is ultra fine in black and retaining the numbers through the years. At 5 years of age, he is still producing fleece as fine as the juveniles. He is consistent both in the staple and across the blanket, down the hip, and up into the neck. Alejandro has a true macho look to him with loads of fleece packed all over his frame. This fleece is possibly the brights black fleece I have come across. Alejandro has extensive black and grey genetics that make him perfect for a dark breeding program. Alejandro's cria have started to hit the ground and they are stellar! After his first three cria, both Penny and I decided to breed most of our herd to Alejandro. In the 2017 breeding year, Alejandro will be bred to approximately 80% of the females on our farm. We have access to a lot of solid studs but truly believe in what Alejandro can do! Alejandro's first histogram at 8 1/2 months old is AFD 16.6 SD 3.5 CV 20 % OVER 30 0.6.....I was thrilled to see this kind of fineness and consistency in a black fleece. Co-owned with Penny Holbrook of Black Hill's Alpacas.

Description

Charmaine is exactly what we look for in a breeding female. She has excellent fineness and uniformity between the primary and secondary fibers within the staple. Her uniformity continues across the blanket from hip to shoulder. She has good density and a strong frame that will no doubt carry healthy cria for many years. The most exciting quality about Charmaine may be her heritage. She carries strong fleece traits of light fleeces from her sire, Bandimere, and a long line of color from her dam, Dahlia. We bred her to our premier black stud, Alejandro. We are excited to see where this goes!
