Munay is the Quechua word for unconditional, eternal, unreasoned love. It is an attitude of respect and appreciation of everyone and everything, values of our farm. He not only shines in personality, his fleece shines also. Munay is a graceful, proud, kingly macho. Munay's density and fineness are very noticeable as is a consistent lock structure. He has a more than adequate staple length and is a heavy fleece producer with excellent conformation. His qualities earned him a coveted place as a herdsire on our farm where he sired three gorgeous female crias--three for three! His first offspring has a fleece that is virtually identical in density and character to his--she is already a heavy fleece producer! And she has won some nice ribbons, too, a tribute to him since her looks are so identical to him. His other progeny are every bit a copy of Munay's density, luster and handle. His fleece is usually spoken for prior to shearing each year. If I manage to keep a fleece, the roving made from it and yarn yield is phenomenal. I love this boy and while he would make a great addition to your herd sire row, I encourage you to consider a breeding. Call or email for more information.

Walkapaca's Brenda Lee

AOA# 30015338DOB: 8/11/200717 yrs
Brenda Lee is a half Accoyo, beautiful and sweet girl with gorgeous, expressive eyes. She has size, bone, correct confirmation with a beautiful head. Brenda Lee is half sister to D. Accoyo Degas, 2006 AOBA National Conference Reserve Gr. Champion and 2006 Double Champion-Ohio Triple Crown. Her sire won the prestigious 2002 AOBA National Alpaca Show in Full Fleece for a juvenile Huacaya DB Male. We wish that Brenda Lee had gotten the chance to compete before she joined our herd a couple of years ago. I am told that her first cria had a 16.7 micron count. Now she has had her second cria, female, and third, a male, with us. Needless to say, we're very excited about her offspring. She is a superb mother. Brenda Lee was bred by Nel Vickers, wife to the late Dr. Jim Vickers of Maplewood Farm, Charlevoix, MI. Dr. Vickers was actively involved in the selection and sales of the first and subsequent importations of llamas and alpacas from Peru to the United States. Nel Vickers has over 30 years experience in the camelid industry. Call me if you want to add Accoyo genetics to your farm with a solid foundation female.

Description

A wonderful little girl whose potential is enormous. She is the product of two stellar, full Peruvian parents. Her Sire has a history of passing down his heavy, dense fleece to his offspring and Rey is already showing signs that he did it again. Like her Star Wars' namesake, Rey is a spunky girl with a lot going for her. She has the ancestry of PPeruvian Caligula, PPeruvian King, PPeruvian Leon, 4Peruvian Pachacuti, 4Peruvian Matador and PPPeruvian Blossom, among others. Her Dam is half Accoyo from the Vickers' farm and possesses superb conformation that has been passed down to Rey.
